How to find a friend’s Location through SMS?
To Locate a Friend via SMS:
- User-A sends an SMS by writing FIND<space><NUMBER> e.g “Find<space><032XXXXXXXX>” and sends it to 141
- User-B will receive an SMS requesting to permit or deny User-A’s request
- In case User-B accepts the request, then User ! will get the real time location of User-B in an SMS, or in other case the SMS will notify the deniel of service due to User-B
How to locate a friend’s Location through MMS?
To Locate a Friend via MMS:
- User-A sends SMS by writing FIND<space><NUMBER><space>MMS e.g “Find<space>032XXXXXXXX><MMS” and sends it to 141
- User-B will receive an SMS requesting to permit or deny User-A request
- In case of approval from User-B, User-A will get location of User-B through MMS* or a denial message if not
Note: MMS settings and activation is required if you need to find friend’s loaction by MMS

Service Charges for Friend’s Location Finder via SMS
For each request of finding Friend’s Location, Rs.3 + tax will be charged. On successfully receiving the requested location of place, Rs.3 + tax will be deducted from your account.
Total Price: 3 + 3 = Rs. 6 per location (Excluding Taxes)
Service Charges for Place Finder via MMS
For each request of finding Friend’s Location, Rs.3 + tax will be charged. On successful receiving of location of place, MMS retrieval charges, i.e. Rs.3 + tax will be deducted from your account.
Total Charges: 3 + 3 = Rs. 6 (Excluding Taxes)

Yes, Location Based Services is available on WAP.

Check Points
- Service will not find you friend’s location if his/her mobile phone is switched off
- MMS, WAP should be activated and configured in order to use this service via MMS, WAP

Yea this service is dangerous too in case my father requests my location through Warid Location finder…. see if i am at a place where i don’t want my dad to know about, then i am in trouble….!

i am a user of warid since 2005. when i received sms abt find location service of warid, i was so happy.
same day i used the service and asked for a location of a friend. it received my request deducted money and qued me in for wait. i waited for 1 hour but no response from warid. i talked to customer services representative and asked him the status of my request. u will be amazed to hear this stupidity of warid company… he replied me “sir first we will ask that person and take his permission then tell u his location”.
o my God what a stupid they r. how can a person like to disclose abt himself when he doesnt know who wants to know. and very clear is that i can ask that friend of mine in one rupee call so y wud i spent 3 rupees when even i know that i might be answered and might not be too.
ppl dont know but they might have used this service and lost their money but to no avail.. even this service is bad bcos it doesnt keep my privacy and they may tell my friend abt my number then there remains no surprize for my friend when i contact him.. this is called fake financial policies to get money.
I agree. Its a pretty useless service. Don’t know why they have started it. don’t they have anything better to offer.
its proved that the service is a wastage of money..
now most important to discuss is that almost all cell service companies has offered 1 rupee for one minute on net.. (with a little variation).

Mobilink offered JazzOne
zong offered 50 Paisa for 30 sec to all network (best offer).
Ufone offered also one rupee without any connectivity..
but my dear brothers and sisters our beloved company Warid remained behind and all other have won. the worst is that its offering fraud services like this find friend’s location…

Well, Usman, Mobilink may be the biggest service, but it has always been a rip off one. I have given Rs 10/minute to these sob’s, few years back. But now companies like warid have forced them to decrease their absurd calling rates & sim prices. Warid is a competitor and competition is always helpful in breaking the monoplies of the expensive b*tches like mobilink & ufone. Warid is a cheap wh*re with quality and it charges what it claims and replies by a balance message.
