Mobilink has roared after a deep silence; with an aggressive move by lowering off-net rates for all JAZZ packages. Though, marked as limited time offer (from Dec 7th 2008 to Jan 10, 2009), but as low as Rs. 1 per minute off net call rates, will give tough time to competitors. This major reduction in off-net call prices (despite interconnection charges) shows the sheer demand of competition in market, along with the requirment for Mobilink to get back the SIMs rolling.
Tariff plan has changed for all Mobilink Jazz Packages, where all off-net calls will now cost as on-net calls. For instance, for Jazz One package, than you will be charged Rs. 1 per minute for all networks including landline (Rs. 0.40 on first minute will apply).
So, now, Mobilink customers can enjoy one rate per every call for everyone on any chosen JAZZ package till the 10th of January 2009.
