PTCL Bills Will Comprise of 1 Page Without Call Details

ptcl_logoPakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has decided to introduce a new billing system for its customers, effective from February 2009, under which, it will deliver monthly bills on a single page, without itemized call details, leaving customers with no details of their usage. Apparently, this step is to cut short paper and printing costs. Customers will be able to get their call details by visiting PTCL’s service centers (though they will have to spend some time and fuel to get this).

PTCL says that company took this decision to ensure that PTCL moves towards adopting environmental-friendly and customer-friendly policies in line with the Government of Pakistan’s efforts which urges companies and institutions to go green.

“Previous bills, comprising multiple pages, would be replaced with this new one-page bill, condensing all the necessary billing details on a single page. This initiative of issuing a single page compact bill will help in saving 12 million papers every month used for printing bill details” said “Dr. Sadik Al-Jadir, SEVP

Customers can get glimpse of their billing details by dialing 1200 as well.

    IT WILL SAVE SUBTANTIAL AMOUNT OF PAPER. OK GOOD.

  • PTCL should have to look other ways of cost cutting.(which he did not????)consumer have a right to get detail bill.

  • We must have an option of have detailed bill in two ways.

    One is on website, every customer should have a web page where he can log on and have a view of it bill details, (we can have details of previous bills also) and the status paid / un-paid etc. This is quite possible these days,

    Details bills may be sent to email address, of the user, if he/she desires, on regular basis.

    The above two menthods are paper free, and enviorment friendly. If PTCL cannot do it please call me we’ll give them a solution!

  • IESCO is giving all bill information on internet by just typing customer number. But the biggest internet provider in Pakistan i.e. PTCL have no details of customers’ Telephone bills on internet. PTCL Zindabad.

  • Sir, Telephone # 36824174 installed at my residence at 29 Madni Road,Ahtha Makhan Singh, New Dharampoura,Lahore. About one year back I did stopped CLI Faciliy at my said telephone. But I am still receiving CLI charges in the monthly bill. I did complain by registered post at PTCL Baghabanpura Division and at 1236 but no fruitful action has been taken by them. Kindly remove CLI charges from my bill and oblige.

  • I am the resident of Muhammdi town PAF road Mianwali It is awful that I am not getting my phone bill in time Just because the postman retains these bill till last date. these bills are then kept in a local shop for collection by the customers. It is terrible that we mostly found the shop closed as I found it closed since 19th march 2011 till now.
