While s competitors have taken back their SMS bundle offer, just before Eid-ul-Azha, Zong showed its commitment by maintaining SMS Packages. The Picture Shows a Zong outlet being approached by huge number of customers to avail MNP and then SMS packages.
By the way, with Zong you can avail 500 SMS + 50 MMS for a Rs. 3.99 Per day

Simply send a SMS <SUB to 700> and subscribe to unlimited SMS throughout your billing period.
Conditions
- Daily limit of 500 SMS and 50 MMS applies, on exceeding this limit SMS and MMS will be charged as per the tariff. To check the available number of SMS send a SMS <Limit> to 130.
For Postpaid: Send Sub to 700, Daily SMS limit: 500 and charges: Rs. 90 per month

yes this limit, 90Rs, is for Postpaid monthly SMS bundle.
For PrePaid users, daily SMS bundle is still 3.99Rs though zong web page http://www.zong.com.pk/unlimited_sms.html still says its 3Rs :-)

Its now 500 sms and 100 MMS daily for Rs. 3.99+tax.
Previously MMS count was 50 and its 100 MMS daily to any network.
MMS size 300Kb.
When did they silently reduce the number of daily MMS in this package from 200 to 50??? That was very clever, ZONG!!!
umm that’s pretty nice, I wish they have higher packages for postpaid subscribers or any other ways for increasing daily limit.

Errr – Telenor hasn’t taken back their text bundles this time. Check their Twitter posts (twitter.com/djuicepakistan) and the balance inquiry code/string via your cell (it was there a few days ago, atleast)

yes and may i add one more feature that only warid allows MMS to be sent to any email address!! i’ve tried others but none of them work

Zong SMS service is really excellent and during eid I dont miss any sms on my cell, as well as calling packages of zong.
