In India.. 3G spectrum licences are auctioned against billions of dollars… now operators are worried about covering the cost itself and nothing about profit for years…
if frequency is reduced, users will suffer so ptcl should purchase this portion.. and about ispak… what r they doing… waiting for some straw while drowning into broadband market…

Extra use of spectrum? In telecoms importance is on efficient usage of spectrum. FAB/PTA should be sued for wasting precious spectrum. DV com’s spectrum is idle since 2004 and while ISPAK has issues with extra it remains silent on wastage of precious resources?

Clearly shows a mentality of “khedaan gai na khedan deyaan gai”

Yes it is wrong if PTCL is using the unpaid for extra spectrum but it is equally unfair on the part of ISPAK to worry about a small portion that is being illegitimately used while saying nothing about 10s of Mhz that are being wasted by PTA/FAB just because they are not clear and also because they just want to make money by making the abundant resource a scarcity (in a situation where there are not too many operators interested in the spectrum)

Yar, why don’t they understand that PTCL being the biggest telecom in Pakistan still lacks technical expertise, if they outsource they can’t check if work done is according to the contract.

Best Example is that mostly of their exchanges have frequent DSL problems but they can’t do anything about it.

Hahah what can you expect from them :). First they stole the name of Nitro DSL package from Micronet and now using illegal frequency for the same stolen name package :)haha.
