multicore core CPU = eats battery
multicore GPU = does not eat battery — and that is the route Apple has taken with the iPad 3. A lot of graphics stuff can be easily paralellized and even if the GPU is slow (500MHz compared to 1 or 1.3 GHz CPU), you can still get a lot done (more cores = more work/mhz).

Also, the display is dimmer than on many devices. The darks are dark, but the whites are not as bright.

Either way, I want it!

if u Want to use those services u know u can use them without any restrictions, u just need to know How…..

As for Space for different stuff, i know its not enough now a days, i had Transformer Tablet (16GB) and i had space issues coz a lot of mobile/tablet games size is more than 700MB/game… But you can’t complain as they are offering a quad core tablet with HD IPS display for just $199

It’s also tied strongly with Google Play media, meaning movies and music. (We cannot access that but the device itself is meant for them and hyped along with them.) They take up space. I know people who will not buy the Nexus phone because their music is more than 32gb, and they use their phones as music players during bus rides to work or stuff like that.

why would you compare Nexus 7 with MS Surface???? Both are made for entirely different consumers, and if you still want to compare both, main advantage of Nexus 7 is Price (Half of MS Surface Windows 8 RT version, Windows 8 Pro is toooooo expensive), average consumer will defiantly go for Nexus 7….

and as for some comments about 8/16 GB version and SD Card slot… Most features in this tablet will be Cloud Based, so u don’t need extra space on your tablet for content that can be saved online…
