Since the people who blog or actively respond to threads can be considered somewhat ‘learned’, I would request the people here to calm down and think about this matter seriously. Just for a moment think logically and rationally rather than putting your emotions into it.

Almost all of the people here are Muslims so there is no denying the fact that all of them must also have a firm belief on every single word that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) has said. Let’s see what the Prophet Muhammad(SAW) said about the coming of Imam Mahdi(AS) by taking a look at a Hadith:

Thawban(R.A) reported that Dear Prophet(SAW) said: “…if you see him then give him your allegiance, even if you have to crawl over ice, because he is the Khalifah of Allah, the Mahdi”
(The Hadith can be found in Saheeh Bokhari & Saheeh Muslim).

Now, this establishes the fact(that most would already agree) that in Islam, the advent of Imam Mahdi is of supreme importance as illustrated by the hadith of Prophet Muhammad(SAW).

History has it that a person during the late 19th century claimed to be the Imam Mahdi as prophesied by Holy Prophet(SAW). The question that arises now is that how many of you here have individually studied his claim? Sincerely ask yourself the question that do you actually know what his exactly his message was? What arguments does he present to prove his status as Imam Mahdi? How does he, if at all, justify all the Quranic and Ahadith references regarding the advent of Imam Mahdi?

We all here will agree on the supremacy and the ultimate power and authority of Allah Almighty. We all believe that a human is a mortal being with one’s life being in the control of Allah Almighty. So no one here has a control over his own life and no one knows for sure how much further he will live. Consider for a moment that after your death and on the Day of Judgement, Allah Almighty asks you: Did anyone during your lifetime claim to be the Imam Mahdi? Did you study his claim? Now for a moment just imagine that what if the person claiming to be the Imam Mahdi really is the one sent by Allah. What will your answer be for not accepting him as the Imam of time? Would you say that: I did not accept him as the Imam Mahdi because everyone around me considered him to be a liar so I did not feel any need of looking at his claim and the message that he was spreading?

The point of all this discussion is that only you would be answerable for all the choices and the decisions that you make in this world. Everyone will have to justify all his actions and decisions by himself. So, all I am requesting you people is to do proper research yourself. History shows that whenever a messenger of Allah has been sent to guide the people, most of his nation has turned a deaf ear to him at first. Everyone considered them to be an impostor. We can see that Romans(Jews) were waiting for a Messiah to come. But when he came (as Jesus), Jews refused to accept him as their Messiah and are still waiting for him to come more than 2000 years after his arrival.

The Pakistani nation Alhamdolillah is a nation that has deep love for religion. The only problem is that almost all of the people believe in what they had been told by others in their religious matters and nearly no one has sought he truth himself. All I am asking you people is to verify this person’s claim by going through his arguments by critically examining them under Quran and Hadith. Then praying to Allah Almighty that He may guide you to the path of truth alone, whichever path it is. We all will agree that “Hidayat” is only granted by the will of Allah Almighty. He grants it to whosoever He pleases.

I am telling anyone of you to adopt a certain path . All I humbly request is to kindly look at both sides of the picture before making a decision. Satisfy yourself with the choice you make because ultimately you will have to justify any choice you make infront of Allah Almighty.

Verily only Allah can guide one to the right path.

And yes, you will certainly know by now that I am an Ahmadi and believe in the Holy Prophet Muhammad(SAW) as Khattam-un-Nabiyeen and Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani (AS) as the Imam Mahdi.
