The game of golf is expected to receive a big boost as the country’s leading cellular company has signed Pakistan’s top three golfers, Muhammad Shabbir Iqbal, Matloob Ahmad & Muhammad Munir along with five other prominent players.

In the recently held Prime Minister Golf Open 2012 Muhammad Shabbir Iqbal of Ufone effortlessly grabbed the top slot alongside another Ufone team member Muhammad Nazir grabbed third position.

Speaking after receiving the top slot title a smiling Shabbir Iqbal paid tributes to Ufone for showing such commitment to the sport and hoped this collaboration with Ufone will go a long way in promoting the game of golf in the country.

This is the first time in the history of Pakistan that golf has been endorsed at such a massive country wide scale. The endorsement shall give Pakistan golf a chance to further enhance international exposure and acclaim. Sports’ bodies are unanimous and by doing so Ufone has reaffirmed its passion to support sports in the country.
