Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, through a letter produced below, has directed all telecom operators to stop Inaami schemes (Prize schemes) with immediate effect.
PTA letter, sent to all telecom operators, mentions that these directions are as per Islamabad High Court order. PTA demanded all operators to submit compliance report by tomorrow, i.e. March 21st, 2013.
It merits mentioning here that PTA had previously directed telecom operators – in April 2012 – to stop inaami schemes but all operators had approached Islamabad High court with a writ petition against the directive.
The petition, however, got dismissed by the court last week and telcos were asked to immediately stop such prize schemes.

thanks God. I was in process to writing letter to PTA about 5555 scheme. I have been made mad by these incoming SMS by mobilink. moreover when i called the CS they told me that they will cut 15 rs from me to stop sending these sms. what the hell type of scheme was that. it is a fraud. mobilink is fraud.
