Mobilink Introduces its First Customized Handset: Nokia Lumia 925

Mobilink has partnered with Nokia to launch its first customized mobile handset providing customers with exclusive access to customized content, value added services and multimedia.

As part of this offer, Mobilink customers purchasing the Nokia Lumia 925 from select retail outlets will be able to utilize their handsets to access wallpapers, ringtones, splash screen as well as various online resources.

Moied Javeed Director Marketing Mobilink highlighted, “The launch of the customized Nokia Lumia 925 marks the introduction of our first ever phone exclusively customized for Mobilink’s customers. The release of this smartphone supports Mobilink’s vision to innovate and provide our customers with the most unique cellular experience in Pakistan.”

As part of this offer, customers will also get

  • 1000 on-net minutes,
  • 1000 SMS,
  • Mobile Music free trial
  • and 1GB internet usage with 90 days validity.

The smartphone will initially be available at retail outlets only and subsequently at Mobilink Customer Care Centers.

    • I bet the execs at Mobilink are all excited at this ‘great marketing initiative’ while the guys at Nokia are trying to keep at a straight face in front of them.

    • What you are thinking makes perfect sense. Even I had been thinking the same till a year ago, when data rates are low, what would we get with a smart phone. But then a year ago, finally I made that due transition, considering the fact that in home/office we are wifi, in this case we will need to use mobile data very less often, and then we need to do that, for whatsapp / viber as well as navigation, the gsm data rate is good enough, specially with edge.

      However, still hoping that 3G or even 4G comes in PK very soon.
