PTCL celebrates the astounding success of its top talent, as 11 out of 15 nominated PTCL employees get selected for Etisalat Group’s High Potential Development Program.

These solid performers with strong leadership potential have qualified for this exceptional development program after undergoing an extremely competitive and rigorous assessment process undertaken by reputed international consultants in which high performers representing from 17 countries of Etisalat operations participated.

Etisalat Group has introduced several remarkable initiatives and world-class practices in PTCL, thus significantly fuelling its journey to stand out as a progressive organization and enabling PTCL to make invaluable contributions for uplifting the nation by offering unparalleled development opportunities to the young talent of Pakistan and spearheading the progression of the economy.

The Group High Potential (HiPos) is an extraordinary program supported by top-notch partners such as Duke University Corporate Education, Informa Telecoms Academy and Harvard Manage Mentors.

The platform presents unmatched opportunities for training & development, networking, hands-on experience of real business challenges and bright prospects for international exposure through international assignments that offer an enriching cross-functional experience for development of an advanced skill set.

Last year 4 members of the PTCL’s talent pool graduated from the program with distinction, leaving a mark of excellence, which is indeed a very strong indicator of the quality of talent available within the company.

To applaud the PTCL employees selected as Group HiPos and celebrate the high representation of the company in this international forum, a launch ceremony was held at PTCL HQs on 25th October, 2013.

Syed Mazhar Hussain, Chief Human Resources Officer, PTCL while congratulating the selected employees said that, “Employee development initiatives are a critical and strategic investment that leads to improved productivity and satisfaction, skill enhancement, and development of a succession pipeline. We are committed towards equipping our people with the tools necessary to excel professionally and remain industry leaders”.

The ceremony was attended by all Senior Executives who expressed their wholehearted commitment for this grand initiative of Etisalat Group.
