Mobilink has launched Pakistan’s first “Phone Trade Program” enabling its customers to exchange their old cell phones with the latest 3G supported smart phones of their choice by paying the differential cost.
The program is aimed at providing Mobilink customers with affordable access to 3G smartphones through a trusted retail channel for exchange of their devices. The newly purchased phones will come with Mobilink pre-loaded 3-month data bundle offer.
Customers can exchange their old handsets, after proper verification of IMEI and security checks, with brand new 3G supported smart phones with pre-loaded data bundle offer with fair usage of 2GB.
Aamer Manzoor, Head of Data Mobilink commenting on the launch of the Phone Trade Program said, “Mobilink has invested more than USD 4.3 billion in its operations and network modernization in Pakistan. We are the country’s largest 3G-ready network and the Phone Trade Program is in line with our strategy to improve customers’ experience by providing the latest technology and best voice and data offers. I am confident that this program will equip our customers with the best devices, empower them to use future technology and encourage them to make the most out of Mobilink’s best data offers on the go.’’
The exchange program is currently being offered at Mobilink’s Islamabad Business Center, Blue Area as a pilot project and will subsequently extended to major cities of Pakistan.
Phones of various brands including Samsung, HTC, iPhone and Huawei are available at the Business Center with Q-Mobile to be made available soon.

they are deceiving customers to buy handsets from them and woh bhee 3G ones. When 4G comes out everyone will be rushing to sell their 3G ones for 4G. It is wise to buy 4G handsets only now rather than going for 3G. Shows how bad mobilink is in deceiving customers
how Deceiving.. lot of people will go for 3G only because 4G LTE is simply costly every where.. people in rest of the world pay thousands for few GB’s of 4G LTE.. so if you can afford 4G sets and services then go ahead but lot of people will go for 3G only for many years…. :)
