Lahore’s premier and fastest growing news channel, City 42 has taken Ufone on-board as official cellular operator, under a continuous process of up gradation to a ‘3G’ network.
The channel was previously using services by Warid, but to be in line with latest trends and updates, they have decided to switch to Ufone, it being a fully functional 3G operator to make use of the cutting-edge technology and deploying it in the field of journalism to increase productivity and coping with time constraints.
From now on, all the employees of the news channel will use and benefit from Ufone’s extensive coverage, affordable rates and recently added 3G services, enabling them to report events live from anywhere and uploading videos without any hassles like power outage.
It is likely that more people and organizations will be switching to 3G enabled networks like Ufone, given the quality of services being offered.
Now City 42 will have an edge over other news channels in reporting live events from anywhere without any constraints, enabling it to excel in the field of journalism and specifically taking lead In news reporting , benefitting from the post pay, blackberry and 3G services being offered by the operator.

There are too many companies in Pakistan, and they keep switching from networks. What is the purpose of this article?
Its totally a bad decision by city 42, they will soon regret the descion as Warid have best network. We had same experience in past and now waiting for 4G, Also its not worth mentioning the post. What propakistani wants to prove?
Dear Test what is warid up to?They have excellent vendor but they are not utilizing it.If they have the potential why dont they just go for it and why are they delaying things.Its not fair thats why customers are switching day by day.Further delay will destroy warid .

Warid is no more best network as they can’t even afford 3G, company is in doldrums, owners can not decide whether to sale or keep it running no investment and innovation. how can such company could be a good network!
Propakistani wants to prove!!! that sticking to a sinking network and not opting to get associated to the one who enables you to enjoy the 3G technology wouldn’t be a wise decision! One cannot deny the fact that warid did not take part in the auction! I pity those who cannot enjoy the 3G enabled services just because they think they are too honest to a network like warid! duh! History shows that change is the only thing that can help a country progress and few morons are not letting our country grow for the most stupid reason ever heard! Get a life douchebags!! Good decision by City 42. I am also Warid customer but it is very disheartening when you see other using 3G and you can’t. what other choice you left beside switching network? and Ufone is not a bad choice if they offered good packages to C42

Propakitani is a not running a charity. They have a right to make money. No matter what they post, they don’t censor comments. We should appreciate that while voicing our concerns.
As far as Ufart is concerned, they messed up the whole auction process and bought only a 5Mhz license in the end. Isnt that a tell tale sign?

I don’t know how it is a fully functionable 3g operator, when it only covers some cities and in those cities only certain small areas.

C42 enjoyed better deal at Warid and that due a well established bakery & sweets brand, which is now going national and then global. And their relation faced issues when channel started promoting another local bakers & swets brand, which was a ompetition to other brand.who supported channel in thick n thin times.
Ufone offered a lucrative offer for joint marketing promotion between the Top Men of both companies and decided to move on and very soon C42 will think of going to an.operator of.neighboring country, when they will offer huge marketing business.plan and channel will show discomfort on high speed internet in most of.the parts of captial city of Punjab.
