  • Worst operating system is windows!
No Bluetooth file transfer, no downloading when phone locked, can’t run many apps at a time, useless Facebook app, stupid type notifications, stupid sms in box

Everything is restricted, heavy phone and stupid shape.
It’s just good for calling not as a smart phone

    • i am a lumia user and features you mentioned are already in it. Bluetooth file transfer, multi-tasking is there in wp8.1, inbox is similar to android 4.4 infact more better and apps wise its behind but still better than Android.

      • i will start using Wp when it will have apps of my need. i heard microsoft will unify windows and WP apps in future?

            • WP 8.1 has built in Data Sense and Battery Sense, shape writing is also built in, also Try using default Video app in Windows Phone ;) screen projection and mirroring is also built it.
why use an app when all features you need is available as part of OS?

            • I looked up droidwall and it looks like a lot of work to do something the OS should handle automatically. Like Mushahid Hussain said, Data Sense feature built into WP is a far superior solution. Just set your montlu data limit and it will intelligently monitor your usage and work it’s magic in the background without you even realising. MxPlayer = MoliPlayer or Phantom Player on WP. Plays every format you throw at it, with subtitles and multiple audio support. AirDroid = Easy Transfer. And SwiftKey again, the Guinness Award winning for fastest typing, Microsoft’s Word Flow keyboard built into WP. Let me tell you I used to hate Swiftkey and Swype on Android. It was laggy, clunky, and it never worked as good as they advertised for me. Not to mention, I always had this nagging concern about trusting my passwords and cc numbers to some third party keyboard app. Needless to say I was pretty skeptic about shape writing coming to WP but once I tried it, I instantly fell in love with it. It’s truly genius and I have never seen a better keyboard implementation in all three OSes I have used. I say give WP a shot with an open mind. I’m sure you’ll come to like it just like the rest of us. ;)

    • It is quite evident that you have not used any windows phone recently. Check any phone that runs WP 8.1, if you want to make your opinion on facts. Have a nice day.

    • Not really. The 525 has an older dual core processor compared to the quad core in 530, though that hardly makes any difference on Windows Phone. The 525 also has twice the amount of internal storage as well as ambient light sensors missing from the 530. Oh and the camera on the 530 has manual focus as opposed to autofocus on the 525. That’s about it.

  • Windows phone 8.1 is far better than Android, recently I am switched from Android to Windows phone 8.1 and must say Microsoft made his ground, I am using Lumia 630 Mela Loot liya Microsoft ne. You have to try windows phone 8.1 os and then you can understand the difference between Windows phone and Android.

    • Hi Adeel,

How has been your overall experience? I was reading 630 reviews and it was mentioned that it lacks a bright display and ambient sensor. What are your thoughts after use? and is 512 MB RAM enough for a quadcore processor?

  • No third party keyboard, no paid apps for free ,no launcher, no themes. Many more
Don’t make your own rule that windows is batter than android first Google it
I had lumia 620 used for 8 months bought for 23k and recently I sold for 8k
Every shopkeepers said that Windows phone has no value and almost all customer demand android. Even the Microsoft is planing to change its windows OS , and they allowed to installed 3rd party android apps in Nokia x phone Don’t make yourself nuts .

  • personally i’m not a fan of Window phones. once i had an experience and it was terrible. most of the apps were stuck and i was forced to shut them down. technically speaking Microsoft is way behind of Android. there are some good entries but what would you do when it’s slower or even jammed on apps?

    • And here’s another troll. One who has never used a Windows Phone. Let me enlighten you: WP is known for it’s buttery smooth performance, even on lowest end hardware. It is designed from the ground up with low specs in mind. Android on the other hand is synonymous with lag, crashes, bugs, so much that some people call it Bugdroid. From first hand experience, the lowest end WP device Lumia 520 with a dual core processor performs roughly the same or faster in some cases than an octa core Galaxy S4. Only now, with Android L is Google optimizing it to run better on low end hardware. Still it’s nowhere close to the performance of WP. So I don’t know what phone you used but it was definitely not WP. Maybe someone scammed you into getting a cheap chinese Android claiming it was a Lumia?

      • “WP is known for it’s buttery smooth performance, even on lowest end hardware.”

As an owner of a Lumia 520 running Lumia Cyan, I call BS on that statement.

“Android on the other hand is synonymous with lag, crashes, bugs, so much that some people call it Bugdroid”

Another idiotic statement by someone who hasn’t used Android in the past 4 years.

  • WP is 9own (welcome to problems)
I have BlackBerry z10 and after failure of its own OS it allows to installed android Apps officially.
All the professional companies like Sony samsung HTC Motorola already using Android. Even the Q mobile got famous because of android OS and in a Q ad a girl says world no 1 famous smart phone.

    • Be skeptical when someone claims QMobile to be the ‘world’s no. 1 phone’ (or the world’s slimmest phone or whatever), even if its a girl LOL :)

  • Third Class Phone with a high price, another try to fool Pakistani people, better andriod phones are available at half of the price of this.
