Ufone has decided to revise its tariff for UTune services, one the the most widely used VAS service by the subscribers.
Previously Ufone was charging Rs. 1.20 plus tax (Rs. 1.44 including tax) per day for its UTune services. However, after revised tariff, UTune services will cost users Rs. 1.30 plus tax (Rs. 1.55 including tax) on per day basis.
Tariff revision for Ufone UTune services will be applicable from December 5th, 2014.
As mentioned above, UTunes, or caller ring back tunes, are widely used by Ufone subscribers and they are given a facility to select any UTune with a single click.
Customers, if they listen any UTune on called number, can just press * button to activate UTune service and copy the Tune on their number without any hassle. Not to mention, by doing so they will be charged Rs. 1.30 per day for the service.
One can expect that other operators will follow Ufone’s steps, as it has become a norm for Pakistani telecom industry to increase prices for products in a row.
Ufone has advertised this tariff change in major news papers. Below is the print ad that appeared in major dailies of Pakistan:
After a month, Ufone will raise the price of another package where they will again write the same dialogue “Kiyn Ky Ufone Tum Hi To Ho”. :P
Telenor already started taking charges @ 80 paisa + tax per day from October.

pathetic service ever!! today i just availed so called super card offer ufone says we r offering 3G data connectivity with 1 MBS speed!! & i’m getting just 40KB :-@ lots of time i checked speed in different ares in karachi i got 30KB, 35Kb max 43KBps speed (download speed) aur bhai upload tou pocho he naaa!!! such a crap.. download is 03, 05, 08kbps even most of areas zero download speed… choor k bachay jhooty hain huh…

i am receving 230KBPS from Super Card. So For Me Its Working.
Shahzad how come!! ufone offers 1MB data speed on super card & u r getting 230KBPS… wah jee kyaa baat hai seems something is wrong…anyhow enjoy the ride i’m really very very disappointed just waste of money… UFONE Sucks…
