Mobilink has entered into an exclusive partnership with Microsoft Pakistan to launch “Lumia” devices. The partnership entails exclusive launch of a range of devices under the Lumia brand. As part of this partnership, the first device Microsoft Lumia-535 was launched last week at Rs. 14,250. Microsoft Lumia 535 is a feature-rich devices aimed at providing an enhanced experience to data savvy customers.
Customers can purchase Microsoft Lumia 535 phones from Mobilink Business Centers across Pakistan. The devices come with an incredible offer of 12 GB of 3G internet, 12,000 Mobilink minutes and 12,000 SMS for a period of 6 months.
Bilal Sheikh, Chief Commercial Officer Mobilink commenting on the launch said; “Mobilink believes in bringing the latest technology and devices to Pakistani market through partnerships with the best manufacturers in the world. Our collaboration with Microsoft is aimed at enriching our customers’ experience of mobile internet and providing them with hi-speed data services with Mobilink’s robust 3G network spread across 22 cities of Pakistan.”

Ufone U5 is subsidized phone that’s why it’s network locked. Lumia 535 isn’t subsidized and you have to pay full price that’s why it should be unlocked
So exclusive that almost none of the specialty features in Windows Phone officially work in Pakistan. No Cortana, no Xbox Music or video, no navigation no nothing.
Since xbox was never launched in Pakistan it was expected and drive/here maps are available.
Drive/here maps are not good for Pakistan and they don’t even have map maker for Pakistan…so no chance for improvement in near future
Use Gmaps – even though they are third party but they work great.
You can use these by changing your region to US or UK
Windows for Mobile is pretty young as it self and some these features never have been available here officially. talking about cortana. she’s not worldwide. but she will be by the time windows 10 is available next year late summer.
on top of all that, Windows is still have poor app eco-system compare to Android and IOS, it’s hard to find alternative to anything, even if you do it probably won’t be as good at it.
Cortana only works when you set your phone region to U.S, i am using Cortana and it’s awesome
LOL you don’t know how to turn them on?All you got to do is switch the region to USA and bam! Cortana and everything is available!
