Zong has finally announced the availability of its own China Mobile M811 4G smartphone in Pakistan.
Announced at the time of the launch of Zong’s 4G, M811 is apparently the same phone that is retailed by China Mobile (Zong’s parent group) in China and Hong Kong for 999 Yuan (equivalent to Rs. 16,800).
However, price of China Mobile M811 in Pakistan is set at Rs. 22,550 that will include Free 12GB of 4G/3G Data for 6 months.
China Mobile M811 is said to have a Quad Core processor clocked at 1.2Ghz with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and powered by Qualcomm chipset. There’s only 1 GB of RAM to support the system.
Zong has said that it will be offering surprise gifts for first 1,000 China Mobile M811 buyers.
China Mobile M811 will be available across Pakistan on Zong’s service centres and franchises. It will come with one year M&P warranty.

Not enough RAM and Storage
They’ve gone for Snapdragon 400 instead of MediaTek, good choice. It would be even better if Zong could partner with Xiaomi and OnePlus to bring their devices at official prices in Pakistan. I bet it’s easier for Zong compared to other operators as Xiaomi, OnePlus and China Mobile (Zong’s parent company) are all Chinese companies.
