  • i am paying bills (LESCO, PTCL , SNGPL some time mobile top ups as well) online from past two years and very happy with it except two time i faced issue with online transaction which were sorted afterwords.

    • What was the issue..? Did the bill go unpaid even after your were charged? That’s my worst fear with online billing!

      • yes that happened with me one time but usually it happens that i paid bill today but due to some issue payment was not successful at merchant level and after two days bank will reverse the payment and i have to pay again so not a big deal but it is suggested always pay at least 1 week before due date to avoid any issue.

  • I have been paying my SNGPL & IESCO bills via UBL Netbanking for more than a year now. I am also paying Beaconhouse fees from UBL netbanking as well. no more going to the banks and waiting in the line :)

  • Also do mention UBL is the expensive one & the stupid one in terms n Internet bank. you have to subscribe for separate packages fro transactions.

Alfalah & Mezaan are good & free internet banking.

Faysal also good but you must have 50K to open account..

    • MCB is good, just have to pay annual ATM fee, internet banking always remained free (till now, never know about future).

  • This online system is very old in pakistan, I am paying from 2 year. I don’t know from how much time this system is working in pakistan.

  • This is quite old now. I pay all kinds of bill online automatically as soon as bill arrives I get the confirmation that your so and so bill have been paid.

  • Using Allied Direct, without any problems for the past few months. However, be cautious when using netbanking. There are a lot of phishing campaigns around where hackers ask for sensitive financial data in emails. SCB got hit with a serious scam few months back, where hackers, portrayed themselves as SCB officials, emailed customers and asked them for Debit Card no., TPIN, CNIC and stuff. So, be careful!

  • Please correct your information as MCB is not Muslim Commercial Bank anymore. it is MCB Bank Limited now.

Soneri Mobile banking is also doing well.

  • Which bank is best in Pakistan in term of E-Banking like online payments, mobile top up, online pay order or fund transfer and most important mobile app.
