iPhone 6S and 6S Plus to be Officially Sold in Pakistan from Mid November

Ufone is all set to put iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, the most advanced iPhones yet, on sale for its customers beginning Friday, November 13th, 2015, we have learned from sources.

While we don’t have any details on the pricing of iPhone 6S and 6S plus as of yet, but we can tell you that more details will be officially communicated on November 6th, 2015 when Ufone will start accepting pre-orders.

Other operators will start similar offerings, but we don’t have official confirmations from them so far.

Apple had partnered with local telecom players last year to introduce its iPhones in Pakistan, officially, and to continue the tradition iPhone 6S and 6S Plus will be put on shelves this year again.

Not to be mentioned iPhones sold through telecom operators come with official warranties and better prices than open market. These officially sold phones will be factory unlocked.

Currently the base models (with 16GB memory) of iPhone 6S and 6S Plus are being sold at around Rs. 80K and Rs. 100K or above.

It is yet to be seen how are telcos going to price these phones, but from the track-record we can confirm that prices from all operators will be the same, except for the voice and data deals that they may offer to iPhone buyers.

  • People in Pakistan still prefer to purchase I Phone from grey market as rates of these phones are cheaper than official ones and Face Time also works on those sets.

  • These are all UAE model phones. They have no facetime. Not worth buying in my opinion. And who is stupid enough to buy them at 25 percent tax?

    • Every iPhone has facetime, but Middle East importers have especially requested Apple to restrict facetime only with their SIMs. As soon as you insert SIM of other region, iPhone checks and deactivates facetime automatically. So better to buy iPhones made for any other market other than Middle East. Facetime will work.

  • Its better for them to launch as early as possible cz apple market is high end and people buying iCrap dont mind paying 10/20k above the official apple price.

P.S: am one of the iCrap users so dont get any ideas that i hate apple.

  • Just Waste Of Money…
In Pakistan Companies Sirf Awam Ko Pagal Banati Ha…
Ab Har Country Main Companies Smart Phone With Contract Da Rahi Ha Lakin Pakistan Main Sirf Awam Ko Pagal Aur Lota Ja Raha Ha …
Main Pro Pakistani Sa Hi Pochata Ho Ka Kya Waja Ha Ka Yeh uFone Telenor Aur Sab Phone On Contract Par Kyu Nahi Sale Karta????

    • Kyun ke contract pe le kar aap bhi installments nahin dein gay jo contracts pe dene k liye voice raise kar rahay hyn. Woh Punjabi mein kehte hyn na PAKISTANIA’N DA VYAAR NAI CHANGA.
baqi boht c private corporations like Ruba Digital and Afzal Electronics contract pe mobile de rahay hyn you can get from there.

      • Good reply. Being a telecom professional I remember Mobilink launched phones on installments in 2002 with a financing deal with Askari Bank. This promotion could run only for 2.5 months because Majority who took phone in first month had not paid their second month bill that included installment fees. Mobilink incurred more than 5 crore of loss in just couple of months. These contract types are normally launched in those countries where companies have access to swift justice and have authority to block all type of things linked to CNIC such as Bank accounts, Licenses, Cards etc…Only then people pay. I think Govt should work on it because it is beneficial for genuine people and interest rate will reduce once legal system is swift.
