Dell ProSupport Proactive Services Debut in Pakistan For Business Productivity

Dell today announced the availability of Dell ProSupport for commercial customers and consumers in Pakistan, helping them maintain and optimize IT performance so they can spend less time on technical support and more time innovating in the country’s evolving business environment.

The key features of the ProSupport services portfolio are designed to help Dell’s customers work smarter by giving them access to Dell support on their own terms and at their own convenience. Commercial customers and end consumers will benefit from the coupling of a base warranty with the carry-in and onsite services of ProSupport. This will allow them to drop their systems at the designated Dell repair center or have a field support engineer visit their premises to resolve the issue. Additionally, ProSupport for PCs and tablets provides direct access to in-region support from ProSupport engineers and establishes a single source for both software and hardware specific matters.

“As we witness a growing mobile workforce and increasing device proliferation, keeping devices running and maintaining productivity is becoming more challenging. There is also greater reliance on technology every day which brings about a greater need for the right support,” said Mr. Mir Saadat Ali, General Manager, Dell Pakistan and Afghanistan. “Dell has been proactive in understanding our customers’ needs in this market and introducing Dell ProSupport will enable our customer’s to maintain productivity and minimize downtime.”

Dell’s enterprise customers will be able to access the same services, with the added advantage of a third party collaborative assistance, hypervisor and OS support. Dell ProSupport also enables customers to upgrade to mission critical depending on the need and urgency of the situation, minimizing downtime.

Customers are also able to control the whereabouts of sensitive data as they are able to maintain possession of their hard drive after replacement to ensure data control. In addition, they are spared the hassle of spending time waiting on a replacement battery with extended battery services.

Dell is only limited to coprorate, MNC, whereby it charges a premium price which by result of loading factor added from Dubai/Singapore Regional Office adds a fat mark up, further added prices by Distributors, Dealers etc.
    I fail to understand why Dell Corporation has not opened delivery and online services by reputable concerns and drop 40% premium now charged by fat salaries of the Dell Operations, Dubai/Singapore Handling charges makes it shy. Dell has not won any major tender for that reason Lenovo is now far ahead from Dell. Please make an evaluation of your job portfolio to justify the prices and online model to reduce 40% prices for online purchases of Dell which does not require any office at all. Only contract arrangement for service/suplport from vendors.Dell pretends itself as a Rolls Royce of PC’s. It is not even Suzuki FX.
