Huawei has revealed that P8 Lite was its best-selling smart phone last year. The phone has reached a record shipment of 10 million in the markets and was very popular in Pakistan as well. According to the statistics provided by the company, almost 16 million customers chose the Huawei P8 series of smartphones that make up the P8, P8 Lite and P8 Max smartphones.
Huawei P8 Lite has been popular given its elegant design combined with strong hardware performance and appearance. Statistics provided by Huawei also indicate that the P8 Lite is one of the fastest selling smartphones in the market.
To consolidate its lead, the Huawei P8 Lite crossed the 1 million shipments mark within two months of its launch in China. On the 30th January 2016, the number hit 10 million units shipped globally.
The Huawei P8 Lite is expected to get Android Marshmallow 6.0 upgrade soon.
Similarly, Huawei has launched the new flagship model this year, the Huawei Mate 8, which may build up the Huawei brand as a premium smartphone maker. So far the Pakistani market has responded greatly to the new smart phone and it is expected that Huawei Mate 8 will set new sales records in the Pakistani market.
They should reduce the prices of their flagship phnes to compete with the likes of Samsung and Apple
