Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has once again opened its doors to the talented youth of Pakistan through its internship program. This internship will be a six-week program and the last date to apply is June 16, 2016.
The internship program has been introduced in order to teach students and graduates about the ever-evolving telecom sector. The selected students will be placed in an environment where they will learn about not only the corporate sector, but build character in order to tackle other major challenges.
Who Can Apply for the Internship Program?
Before the candidates can apply for the internship program, they should check the eligibility criteria in detail:
- The age of applicant must be between 18 to 25 years
- Business, IT, Finance Graduates and Engineers must have scored at least CGPA 2.80/70 percent aggregate.
- The year of graduation should be either 2015 or 2016
Details About the Internship Program
Interns are going to be placed in different departments, at different locations and will be given work based on their academic background. Interns will be placed in a geographical location that is convenient and practical for both the individual and the concerned department. However, it should be noted that the final decision in both these matters shall rest with the company, which will be binding on all interns.
You should also be aware that an intern will not be transferred to a different designation after they have been shortlisted, so you will have to perform the tasks and duties given to you by your superiors. After careful consideration, if PTCL selects you for a permanent position, it will be in one of the following departments:
- Legal
- Finance
- Human Resource
- Information Technology and Services
- Technical
- Marketing and Communication
How Can You Register for the Internship Program?
You can register here for the internship program. After you have successfully completed the program, you will be entitled to a certificate from PTCL that will help you in job opportunities in the same firm or others. Keep in mind that due to whatever reason, should you choose to leave the internship, you will not be penalized in any manner, but will not receive the certificate.
As a reminder, the last date of submission is June 16, 2016, so the sooner you apply, the higher your chances will be of being shortlisted for this program.

One has to be very very lazy (or extremely incompetent) to be a jobless at a mature age of 27. Sorry but that’s what it is. Pakistani market is not as bad as some people thinks it is. We hire new people everyday.

Hiring New People Every Day vs Paying them Enough are two Different things, if you are Okay with Pathetically Low Income or Freelance for months I was offered Several Jobs as a Software Engineer but i did not took them. I started working on my Own its Extremely Hard but you don’t Rely on some one. Plus There is Nothing Fascinating to Learn by working in Companies like PTCL. Pakistan has no shortage of Talent, Most of the Talent just Flies Out to other Countries.
