His departure at this critical stage is a blow to Telenor Microfinance Bank as Ali Raiz Chaudhry, the first president and CEO of Telenor Microfinance Bank, also quit the bank to avail opportunities in the UK with 1181118 Money about six months ago.

The new president, Shahid Mustafa, though was the key founding member of Tameer Microfinance Bank, however, Yahya’s move will give a competitive advantage to Bank Alfalah, which is a competitor to Telenor Microfinance Bank.

Previously, Bank Alfalah launched its mobile banking solutions in collaboration with Monet Pvt Ltd, whose CEO, Ali Abbas Sikandar, was the co-chairman of Tameer Microfinance Bank.

Bank Alfalah was also successful in getting the business of EOBI pensioners disbursement service, which used to be managed by Tameer Microfinance Bank before that.

Yayha Khan is likely to further boost Bank Alfalah’s penetration with innovative and digital solutions. His hiring was part of Bank Alfalah’s new CEO and management’s strategy which wanted to revamp the bank’s business policy going forward.

  • Ptcl authorities must link this fiber national project through national bank database with all facilities record to the customer, then give the opportunity to private sector introducing business service, so that monitor & control system would be in action as a record ….!!

  • Anything that goes to the interest of our Pakistan was initiated/launched by Telenor & its various divisions, that changed things on regulation of Road Safety, in Karachi, inclusion education to police, public transport operators, drivers etc. In the Digitalisation move the MOITT, Minister talked loudly on Digitalisation of Pakistan giving strength to government, and governance. Its really impressive to contribute to Telenor and the beneficiary Pakistan and its people. Common people, drivers, bus conductors, rickshaw drivers, start contributing to fines, which were going to the pocket. Lack of public transport, policies, made complete chaos. Being close to IRU, and the UN Decade of Road Safety, Telenor would have done much, much more to the city of Karachi Road Traffic. You should have gone to WEF, Davos to speak on Digitalisation of Pakistan, governance, law and order, discipline in Pakistan.
My humble suggestion to please come back and join Telenor Infra Projects for road, and people safety, safe transport, public transport, honoring the UN Decade of Road Safety with Karachi. I would also suggest you to look for an opening with the regulatory authority of Pakistan PTA as the chair which is still opened. Best wishes to Mr Shahid Mustafa team member and welcome to the UN Decade of Road Safety and Digital Pakistan.
