Following Ehsan Mani’s election as the new head of PCB, the adviser to PCB Chairman, Shoaib Akhtar, has also resigned from his post earlier today, effective immediately.
The speedster tweeted about his resignation, saying, “This is to announce that I have resigned from the post of Advisor to the Chairman #PCB effective immediately”.

While there were questions surrounding Shoaib’s responsibilities as the adviser, the pacer deemed fit to resign immediately. It would be interesting to see whether he will be assigned any role in Ehsan Mani’s tenure as he is quite vocal about the country’s cricket.
Do you think he should be a part of Imran Khan’s plans to revamp cricket in the country? Let us know what you think.

WAseem Akram is hop notch for this post and he’s going to be IN!
