how long does it take a service provider to send customer details to PTA on purchase of a new sim
bought a ufone sim from an official company outlet 2 weeks back, yesterday i sent an sms to 668 but its not showing any ufone sim on my ID card

No one knows when 668 data was last updated, PTA won't respond you positively. In my opinion, this data is at-least 6 months old.

You are on safe side, if your data with cellular company is correct and updated.

That may be different for people living in main cities and rural areas, for me it takes approx. 1 month to update the details, how do i know? as i port my numbers frequently :p - though one should not relay on PTA only!

My data with ufone is correct i have been assured by their salesrep....
