    Deducting 1.1% more balance is it fair?

    Telecom companies to deduct 1.1 percent maintenance charges on all recharges (through Ushare/ topup/ scratch card) from July 1st, 2011. is it fair. they are already deducting(Withholding Tax: 10 % GST/FED: 19.5 % Service Charges: 5 % and now this new maintenance charges tax..Maintenance Charges: 1.1 %).... Are you ready for this new TAX.

    Highly un-fair, why the hell end user should pay maintenance charges ? These companies should maintain their equipment out of their profits.

    I guess only Ufone & Mobilink gonna charge this for now, but others will follow soon.
