Youth Initiative Laptops - Corruption or Media Propaganda?

Today Dunya News aired a program, in which Mubashar Loqman (Who thinks himself as a god) accused Govt. of Punjab for corruption in the laptop scheme, the funny thing was that when the program started he showed a comparison between the youth laptop (Dell 4050) and Dell 5110 (Core i3 2ndGen, 4GB, 320GB, Win7), he claimed that Dell 5110 is available for 37k only where as the market price for the very same laptop is not less than 50K. He also accused that Govt. put pirated Windows in youth laptops? Well according to my information the laptops comes loaded with Ubuntu not Windows.

We usually talk about free Media, but is it really free? or some political parties using News channels as their weapons to achieve their desires? Now after the Transparency International report about the laptop scheme, giving them clean chit, even PTI guys realized the truth but Dunya News I don't know what's their agenda. What do you think about it?

OK don't compare it with dell i3, but Punjab Govt previous favourite brand "Fujisto" that was used in Punjab Govt School Computer Labs is already in market in same price with same specification (core i3 and bla bla). He showed wrong price for dell i3 but for the laptop that is given by Punjab Govt not worth 37,000 at all. Did you take a look at anyone of them? The materiel used in these laptops is much cheaper than regular dell laptops in market. Have a look and then do tell us.

Iss hamam mai sab nangay hain kya dunya new aur kya shahbaz shareef....+

^ I have used this laptop my self (It was given to friend) the quality is same as other dell laptops of same model available in market - Its not Govt. fault, This a lower end Lappy what else can you expect?
Fujitsu laptops are actually very cool, made in Germany stuff but Pakistani people like only Dell, HP (No matter if most of their products are actually crap).

What laptop I saw given to a cousin of mine was too cheap... specially base plastic was just pathetic... anyhow they are not worth 37000 at all

And I want to add one more point (I didn't saw that programme of dunya news, and don't know they raised it or not) when governments make such a deal in bulk the price tag reduced to at least 30-50% discount, but in this case it seems that Punjab Govt paid something extra.
