Evo Nitro Cloud 9.3 Mbps [Full Review]

    Evo Nitro Wifi Cloud

I just bought this device 4 days back.

Evo Nitro Cloud is 9.3 Mbps device, in which you can connect 5 Wifi devices [mobiles/laptops/others] or you can have it connected to PC via USB.

Hyper Speed: Get hyper speeds of up to 9.3 Mbps with 3G Evo Nitro Cloud. Connect to the Internet on the Pakistan’s fastest mobile broadband network “Nitro” and enjoy seamless roaming in over 70 cities across the country.

Instant Connectivity cloud: Power on your Nitro cloud & Connect up to 5 Wi-Fi enabled devices to 3G Evo Nitro Cloud – at a touch of a button!

Super Powerful battery: with a super strong battery support of up to 10hours, Nitro cloud gives you the freedom to keep connected 24/7 to the people, places and information that matter to you.

Perfect for on-the-Go connectivity: Compact device that fits your pocket and looks good anywhere from the board room to coffee shop.

Seamless Roaming: With 3G nitro cloud enjoy roaming at speeds of up to 9.3Mbps in 70+ Nitro covered cities with auto switch over to 3.1Mbps in over 200 EVO coverage areas; making sure we have you covered wherever you move

Here is my review about the device.

Its 9.3 Mbps but in ideal conditions you will get upto 700 to 750 kb/s speed, that is also if you are in Rev B covered area by PTCL.
If your area is not supported the device automatically switches to CDMA and you get 3.1 Mbps like old cloud.

Evo Cloud supports 5 wifi devices and 1 USB device, in old cloud you can use both at the same time, connect 6 devices, 1 on USB and 5 via WIFI connectoin.
Nitro when connected to USB you can't use wifi.

As for battery, it really rocks, as compared to old cloud.

    Pricing Details

Initially PTCL is having promotion in which they give the device Free, if you pay 4 months bill in advance

    • Monthly Bill: Rs.3000 PKR
    • Pay Rs.12000 PKR for 4 months and get the device FREE

Rating: I'll give 4/5, would have given full, 5 stars, only if it could support WIfi and USB connectivity at same time.
This device worth's the price, its performance is excellent, as compared to other
services that i have used in Pakistan. It never fails, no connectivity issues or installations.

how would you compare the battery timing of this device with simple ptcl evo cloud?

    And I am a student , I have a 4 Mbps link at home . I need something on the go .
    I have three options;
    1.Get a ptcl evo wifi cloud .
2.Buy evo wingle with 50 Gb limit with a usb battery powered device . (I saw one in the market of energizer for 3000 rupees)
3.I have an old ptcl evo . Buy a tenda router or tp link 3g router with built in battery.

Please advise me what should I do? I get full evo signals in my house . On a simple evo I get 2.67Mbps on a speed test.

if you already have PTCL USB then just buy a new 3g router with a built in battery and after that you will good to go .....
