Till February 10th 2012, Telenor is offering its customers to make free unlimited calls to all on-net numbers in Pakistan.
Telenor 24 Hours Package holders can make unlimited free calls (excluding 6 PM – 9PM) to any Telenor number at a flat daily charges of Rs. 7 plus tax.

- Subscription price: Rs. 7 plus tax per day
- Free call Time band: 9 PM to next day 6 PM (21 hours)
- Call on-net numbers absolutely free between 9 PM to next day 6 PM (21 hours)
- Other network: Rs. 0.80 per 30 seconds
- Telenor to Telenor (6PM to 9PM): Rs. 0.80 per 30 seconds
- SMS: Rs. 1 per SMS
- MMS: Rs. 5 per MMS

- Dial *345*000# USSD to subscribe
- Subscription price: Rs.7+tax (Rs. 8.37 inclusive of tax)

- Validity: Customers can make Free Calls on day of subscription – till 12am (offer not valid between 6pm-9pm).

Can any one here rate the mobile networks on their EDGE/GPRS speed and service. I am going to visit the country soon and my major concern will be online connectivity for my iphone. I don’t think there is much difference in downtime for voice on all available networks.

Zong 2GB or unlimited package is good for you if you want to use a lot of mobile internet. Or Warid is best with speed if you can pay for a little expensive unlimited gprs packages.
Ufone is very poor in my city for GPRS speed. Only maximum 5 to 6 kb per second on EDGE.

Telenor is the only network with complete network on EDGE, hence you can get the best speed! Since you are coming form abroad and own an iphone, tariif wont be an issue! :P
