Ufone has partnered with PIA to offer free tickets to any destination after lucky draw for those Ufone Postpaid customers who have got their numbers with PIA Award Plus promotion.
Normal Ufone Postpaid users (like me, who got their numbers from franchises or through other normal procedures) don’t expect themselves included in these lucky draws.
How to participate?
- You need to be a PIA Award Plus member, to get registered call PIA help line +92-51-111-786-786
- Once you are PIA Award Plus member, claim your Ufone Postpaid connection from PIA that comes with Award Plus membership
- You will get this connection in couple of days, and also inclusion in lucky draw
What will you win?
- Ufone’s website says that there will be five lucky draw winners every month, however, PIA helpline said that there will be five lucky draws in total spanning in the months of August, October and September 2008.
- PIA Helpline confirmed that lucky draw winners will get 100,000 award plus points that they can use over the time. (A return ticket to UK comprises of 45,000 award plus points, so if you are lucky winner, then you can visit UK twice. Defiantly award plus point consumption for other places varies depending on distance)

As I have checked lately (I am a awards plus member) the total points you require for a return ticket to Zone 4 (UK is in Zone 4), you need 27,000 points. Both companies have plan behind their compaigns, the Ufone is looking for awards plus members to come onboard as post-paid customers (if they fly a lot, they will use roaming server abroad, big money for Ufone) and PIA would have been looking for people to join it’s awards plus program so more people choose PIA when they fly.
