As the rest of the world is shifting grears for 4G communication, we here got areas which are not connected to our own mainland.
But now a cellular company has been given a go-ahead to erect three transmission towers to provide mobile phone service to the whole of the North Waziristan Agency. Sources said the towers would be installed inside the government installations for protection from saboteurs.
The three towers would be installed in Miramshah, Mirali and Boya areas that would connect the agency with the rest of the country. Sources said work would start this month. Presently, there is no cellular phone service in the agency.
Is it TELENOR, taking the risk? :)
Name of that telecom company?
Its not yet confirmed. But this project is initiated . Stay tuned as we update you here soon inshALLAH

mobilink installed itz towers in miramshah mirali and razmak but not in boya and there’s no service due to security reasons. when the network is on there is no service due to heavy load. so mobilink has done no wonders there.
