Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has hired services of more than 40 consultancy firms and independent experts for its long-term strategy for the development of telecom and its related sector, reported by Daily Times, quoting authority officials.
Paper further reports that these foreign and local consultants have international repute due to the notable expertise in their relevant technology and will work on PTA’s special projects. These consultants belong to different fields of telecom sector that includes spectrum, optic fiber, networking, infrastructure, broadband, digital broadcasting, regulation of service costing, policy and regulation and others.
These consultants will work on different research, strategic and technical projects of PTA both inside and outside the country as per PTA long-term goals and objectives.
