Globitel and Warid Sign Agreement For Mobile Traffic Steering

Globitel recently announced that it has signed a contract with Warid, under which Globitel has provided them with the Intelligent Traffic Steering Solution

Intelligent Traffic Steering provides mobile operators with dynamic remote control over the visited mobile network (VPMN) selection process, enabling them to steer proactively their outbound roamers to preferred networks. This quality and feature-rich solution allows operators to control network selection according to their roaming strategies and interests, and is cost-effective by maximizing profits and alliances while preventing revenue leakage to competitors.

Warid, which caters to a large number of inbound and outbound roamers across the world, needed a long-term and viable solution to effectively manage its roaming traffic. After careful deliberation, the group decided on Globitel’s solution as it boasted a variety of additional features.

“Having dealt with Globitel before, we were aware of their ability to provide robust solutions in record time, not to mention their outstanding post-sale support,” said Ms. Asma Khan, Warid’s General Manager International Business. “Globitel’s traffic steering solution is perhaps the most operational in this region due to its unmatched performance and customizability”

“We are honored that our solutions cater to the needs of a high profile operator like Warid,”. “We have cooperated with Warid on several projects in the past, and we are certain that our partnership will only grow from here.”
