Telenor Selects TKP Pakistan for Provision of Global Support Services

Telenor Group has selected Telenor Key Partner Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of Telenor Pakistan, for provision of shared IT services to the Telenor Group worldwide operations. TKP Pakistan will provide support on ERP, Human Resource and IT-enabled accounting services. Imran Ashraf, formerly Telenor Pakistan’s Director Accounts has been nominated as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the new subsidiary.

Addressing an in-house gathering at Islamabad, Telenor Pakistan’s Chief Financial Officer Peter Kuncewicz said, “It is a matter of great honor for us that TKP Pakistan has been selected to take charge of IT support services for the Telenor Group. This shows the exceptional talent that we have in Pakistan, specifically at Telenor Pakistan. I wish Imran Ashraf every success in his new role.”

TKP will have a positive cost and quality effect on the Group. At the operational level TKP will provide dedicated back-end support to Group companies for day-to-day operations, hence improving the speed, quality and reliability of information. On the other hand, the centralized model of the support services will result in cost efficient operations. Assistance will be provided with ERP, HR and IT-enabled accounting services.
