Due to heavy rains and electricity outage for more than 48 hours, telecom and internet service providers are running short of power stored in their power generators, consequently causing disruption in telecom services, throughout the city.
Rain has also damaged telecom infrastructure, resulting hundreds of landline numbers going offline.
PTCL has issued a warning email to its customers, revealing that their backup generators may not last for long, and that the company is working to restore the network and services.

I was wondering if the same is happening with internet services as well…using PTCL connection which is slow in browsing with hardly any downloads, but my brother’s LDN connection is working fine?
My Jazz line is completely out of order since 2 days….
but no problem with my PTCL broadband and IPTV thanks God. feeling so lucky!!!
ufone was out for a very short time hardly 40-50 minutes but telenor for 2 freakin days, in last year rain only WARID was on.
