PTCL is going to lacun new postpaid packages from August 14th, 2009 – we just received confirmation through a high level officer at PTCL.
It is evident that PTCL is going to give plentyful attention to Vfone Postpaid, as they are losing landline subscriber notably. (Expect huge media campaign for Vfone Postpaid)

Again, these packages will launch on August 14th, meaning that, don’t consider them official. We will bring further details latter this week, inshAllah.
You may remember, Vfone’s prepaid packages got revised recently.

I am sure this Offer will not Attract people towards PTCL and neight people will reconnect. PTCL has to treat its Land line Customers and PTCL V with at-least same tariff.
I wonder how 1000 hours can be consumed within a month 30*24= 720 hours(i think validity will be of one month)?

guys please open your eyes, they are not giving 1000 hours, they are giving you 1000 minutes, please ………open your eyes, ptcl is not fool although their people are fools but still in some manner they are clever.

I think 30sec pulse and vfone set shrinks to pocket size then no postpaid package like vfone else no poision to beat other postpaid
The rates are not competitive in the telecom market because if I compare it with mobile postpaid rates.
If I load the line rent (which PTCL charged), I will get more free minutes, FnFs facility, lower off net rates, free one number and also get free SMSs, therefore it is not competitive rate. PTCL do more to compete in the landline sector versus mobile sector.
I feel the lacking of package having line rent of Rs.500 that should fit the need of most houses IMO!
