LG Electronics has recently launched its first ever Service Center in Pakistan, something that was required lot earlier happened at last. LG Mobile phones had been in the market for quite sometime now, especially after their huge marketing spend in year 2007-2008. That was the time, when their low end phones got plenty of market share and thus creating a demand for service center.
This service center has been opened in Karachi, where all basic services will be offered locally. Following is the official press release
LG Service Center is made using the dexterous skills of Korean experts who conceptualized the service center as having the latest state of the art technology and one in which LG customers feel the Goodness of Life. The Service Center will be meeting all requirements of LG customers including purchase, repair and service, warranty issues and anything and everything that customers need for their cell phone.
According to Mr, S.K. Baik, Vice President, LG Customer Service “The LG Service Center is the first Service Center in Pakistan and is complete with all tech savvy essentials to meet the requirements of LG customers.” He also elaborated on the use of the skills and vision of Korean architects in building the service center and how the service center would in itself be an experience for those who visit it.
This service center will invite LG’s prestigious customers to a whole new world of LG mobile phones with latest innovative applications. It will provide customers with the continuous upgrading of LG services and will make dealing with mobile phones a more interactive activity. The customer service experts hired for this center will be trained with the techniques of solving customer issues and assisting customers in the least possible time. The usual trend of waiting for the service agents to solve the problems on the phone will be revamped and personal; one-on-one interactivity of LG sales people with LG customers will be promoted.
The guests and media present at the inauguration ceremony were shown around by Mr. E.D. Choi, General Manager, LG Karachi office who also gave everyone a walk through presentation on LG and the new technology it was introducing in the mobile phones. He extended on the notion that LG offered cutting edge technology in all the products it offered and focuses on achieving profitable and sustainable growth in the mobile communications and digital display sectors
well like the author stated a good step but too late ..my advice to lg is that they should have started the service in the large cities like Lahore,Islamabad etc instead of a single service centre…anyways something is better than nothing…

I have bought a LG washing machine and the after sale service is so expensive from its center (042-35869609) that they are ripping off the pocket of the customers so I have decided NOT to buy any LG product in future even.
complaint against Mega service center in RAWALPINDI Pakistan, unfortunatly I had purchased one automatic washing machine on behalf of my humble trust upon LG products, which i was using before. After purchase i got some problems in washing machine so i contacted LG service center named MEGA SERVICE CENTER located at Rawalpindi, shortly they arrange to take that in their workshop after charging me the visit charges and carriage charges. After checking they informed me that parts are not available in pakistan they will demand from KOREA so it took two months and they send my washing machine by charging about Rs 16000 by the vehicle driver which knows nothing about electronic items so we tried to operate it so we can not. Again i complaint to MEGA CENTER they send a rep for checking again and he told me that CARD of the machine is not working , he put off the card and take it to mega center again they told that this is not available in pakistan again said that demand sent to korea so it took again one month , now they are charging me about RS 17000 more, so i am not satisfied with their service where i have to go for complaint .

Totally unhappy with the LG AIR CONDITIONER, which I had bought 6 months back. LG is far expensive than other
AC brand that available in market. And within 2 months, its compressor was damaged. Complaint has been lodged
for rectifying the error. After so many days of struggling, Technician visited and give a feedback that your
AC’s compressor damages so we have to take your Ac outdoor with us .
Then after a couple of weeks, technician came and resolved a problem. It started working properly hence during
the time of heatstock em without Ac * it was literally very hard days that I and my family members survived.
We are very disappointed that after one month, Ac again stopped cooling. Now we again lodged a complaint. After a
long term of reminding, technician visited and told us that your Ac gas has been leacked and it will be recover after eid .
I want to request please sort out my problem.
