This June in Lahore and Karachi, startups from Pakistan will be given a chance to showcase and share their products services or even the ideas to grow themselves in various directions. Not only this, one outstanding idea/product or service will get cash award and promotion on multiple platforms.
PASHA, the organizer of the event called ‘Launchpad’, says that the purpose is to create a platform where young people with great ideas, and early-stage companies with innovative products, are given an opportunity to pitch in front of people who ask relevant questions, make suggestions to help develop the idea or product, assist with market identification, mentoring and possibly investment.
Launchpad is scheduled for Lahore on June 26th, 2010 and another show on June 27th, 2010 in Karachi.

why does PASHA treat Islamabad in a discriminatory manner or is it an organisation which if not found any sponsor will not visit the other cities of Pakistan?
PASHA always give the feeling that it is very much biased towards Karachi. I hope I am wrong.
I must agree you upon that. Though islamabad bears more outsiders but it doesn’t mean that they insufficient knowledge. they could differ in quantity of people, ideas etc but not in quality.
