Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) now extends its wireless Broadband EVO service in 100 major cities & towns across Pakistan, said a company statement.
PTCL EVO is a 3G wireless technology experience that gives opportunity to roam freely with an average download speeds from 300 kbps to 500 kilo bits per second.
EVO technology has witnessed highest growth amongst other broadband technologies in Pakistan.
PTCL in its statement said that EVO service are now available in 100 cities and towns including
- Karachi,
- Lahore,
- Islamabad,
- Peshawar,
- Quetta,
- Hyderabad,
- Chakwal,
- Gujranwala,
- Muzzafarabad,
- Rawalakot,
- Mirpur,
- Okara,
- Sargodha,
- Sialkot,
- Multan,
- Faisalabad
- And other small towns and cities across Pakistan.
PTCL said that its expansion plans for broadband network will continue to ensure that more customers get the opportunity to experience the latest wireless broadband and related technologies.

Nice development in telecommunication industry.But why not Peshawar. ??. Is Peshawar not the part of Pakistan.?

they only company claiming to offer wireless connectivity over 1mb (3.1mb)
but don’t know how much actually a customer is getting
Its true that evo is available in more than 100 cities but who will make it possible that this service should be available in whole the city as for as my city when i try to get evo in Bahawalpur i came to know that this service is available in limited areas and unfortunetely my area is not listed while i am living in neighboring of Posh area so i thin ptcl should consentrate on quality and availability not in all area this is not good that they are spreading evo in more areas but now giving signals in whole the city.
PTCL evo in Peshawar is 450MHz band but in rest of the country is same. Therefore roaming doesn’t work in for Peshawar user or other users from other cities in Peshawar. Can anyone explain me as why PTCL did this. Its stupid and make no what ever sense.

I want to inform you about evo net services in my city (Narang mandi).We have no facilities of evo signals in our city so please you provide us rang of good signals.We don’t have evdo signals therefor we can’t use internet properly,so please as soon possible provide us good services of evo net

I Explain that why Ptcl Evo cannot Work Properly in peshawar city, before few months i purchased ptcl evo usb from their one stop shop. I am very happy that i have an usb that connect with wireless but i when i plug it they play and i see that the speed is going down in roaming category i quickly call the service centre after half hour yes that funny after half hour ptcl service provider pick up the phone i explain all the story but he reply me that in the peshawar area the signals of fast wireless communication is cross the trible areas and know the days of darkness in peshawar government cannot approved any type of liability in this condition, so i am so angry and also disheart take it the usb and go back the one stop shop and return it back. So friends thats all the story.
