Ufone is proud of Pakistan and wants all other Pakistanis to share their thoughts and love for Pakistan by simply sending an SMS to 1947*.

R. 0.01 + tax / SMS. Taxes apply
This is a great step by the Ufone and we all need to realize the endless blessings that Pakistan has bestowed us, its beautiful s scenery of the tallest mountains or the shimmering coastline, the seasons that come in all their glory, above all we are breathing in the fresh air of a free and independent country. We all must be thankful and proud of our country.
It means now we have to pay tax even for saying “THANKS”, The Service should be Tax free :(

I can think of a hundred better ways to thank Pakistan for giving us a free land. Let’s just say the easiest one is to keep our country clean. Avoid corruption and support the poor.

Its been months that ufone didn’t earn from other sources, actually they contributed a lot in flood relief now they are thinking how to get back that money.
actually a beggar always call upon the name of Allah by saying “for the sake of Allah”, so people get pitty on them.
Same thing ufone is doing, for the sake of Pakistan.
Oh man if you wanna say thank to pakistan contribute from your own pocket, if you want our thanks then why are you charging us, if you need the alms(khairaat) then go stand in the line of PM relief fund.

be positive, 0.01 is nothing and what ufone has contributed requires 40 Billion such messages to get that money back which isn’t possible so don’t always doubt on every good initiative of people with good spirit, we need to change that pysche.

Pakistan you are not my mother as Indians say, you are my home. We are corrupt like them, but in that case they sell their mother & we sell our home.
For God’s sake people, have you seen those charges Re 0.01.. you can spend hundreds for talking to your girls and you feel that by charging this 0.01 for this excellent campaign ufone is doing some crime. They wont make billions with it. Shame on you guys!
Concept is good, but i am wonder that why they have applied charges to send sms, it should be free for Pakistan.
Basically charges are applied to stop abuse, and manage network load, The tax thing is applied by GOVT. not ufone.
I like Ufone’s ads but I am surprized at Mehwish Khan for using such good words for Ufone’s this initiative.
MEHWISH, do you work for Ufone? Are you ON UFONE’s PAYROLL? or Are you just NAIVE enough to have missed that Ufone is charging for nothing.
While we are facing so many problems including devastating floods across Pakistan it doesn’t make sense to celebrate in the name of independence and spend amount which is very likely will remain useless. It’s better to contribute amount to those who are looking towards us and expecting very positive response from all!
