Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) Training and Development department arranged a one day HR Seminar, titled “Maximizing Organizational Potential through Inclusive HR Practices” at PTCL Academy Islamabad.
PTCL Management views learning and development of employees as the most significant area in overall Human Resource Management function and thus has made it a strategic focus. Side by side the training campaigns for all tiers, a series of seminars on well thought off and diversified titles have been initiated.
The HR professionals and scholars from the top ranking universities like Dr. Abbas Ch (Vice Chancellor UET Taxila), Mr. Zafar Taji (Senior HR Professional), Prof Amanullah Khan (Riphah University), Mr. Athar Hameed (HR Head at NUST), Mr. S. J. Raza (HR Director Microsoft), Mr. M. Afzal (T&D NBP) and Dr. Tahir Masood (Director Management Studies – UCP) presented their views and shared their wisdom about the broad caption of the seminar.

Shahzad Safdar Khan EVP OD &( Training & Career Development) also expressed his views on the occasion and said that we believe PTCL employees have enormous potential that needs to be exploited and have the capability to make PTCL believing telecom operator of the region ,he further added that the Training and Development team has been making untiring efforts to turn PTCL into a true corporate entity. In any organization in the concerned field only the relevant qualified personnals are posted.In Ptcl it is the challengable question to identify only one employee in HR section even the Head who has this qualification and required skills and experience.What the hell they will run HR management and policies.The finacial balance sheet data after privatization is proof for the perfomance this National Asset Organization.
I am totally agreed with ASLAM,
the HR is most pathatic department of PTCL, they even dont know the basics of HR, Highly NON qualified person posted on higher posts of the department. Implementing poor policies.
