ITCN Websites Offline for Reaching Bandwidth Limit

For those who don’t know ITCN is the name of a three day IT Exhibition that is running in Karachi these days (20th-22nd Sep), and they claim to be the largest IT Expo of the year.

However, look at following screenshot which pretty much tells the story. I am speechless.

ITCN

Update:

It appears ITCN website is back online – probably they have paid extra now, which they should have done lot earlier.

Thanks Faraz for tipping

had visited yesterday and would say that this event is getting worst year by year. This was supposed to be limited for corporate but security guards at the main entrance of expo center are allowing everyone to enter and not asking whehther you have pass/CNIC office card etc even I saw kids (I guess their ages were under 6-8 years) roaming/running playing around with Balloons in Hall 3(Courtesy Dell).

Once again Students were successful in reaching inside.

in early years of ITCN, organizers/Participating companies used to ask by self by visitors to spend some time with them so that they could introduce their products/business but now, they are not bothered about it and I found them busy in chatting/gossip with their colleagues.

Besides, ITCN once again failed to attract major players from ICT domain and was not surprised that they couldn’t even filled just 3 halls! in fact two halls were more than enough to accommodate all participating companies.

I still remember that very Long queue(from expo center to Baitul mukarram Masjid) for the very 1st ITCN exhibition.

I think PSEB,PASHA, Govt and Ecommerce gateway should take serious notice and plan strategy to make this event successful in coming years and if they can’t no need to organize it on regular basis or perhaps would be better to arrange it on biennial basis.

    • Most probably due to commencing the event on week days rather than week ends and poor exposure.

I totally agree with “A” this seems to be now meeting point, dating point etc and nothing more than this, it should be limited to IT sectors people who can actually make business over there, rather than people watching gadgets over there.
