SAP implements ERP solution at Continental Biscuits

SAP Pakistan provides its ERP solution to Continental Biscuits Limited (CBL) where Siemens Pakistan is the designated project implementation partner on behalf of SAP. The primary objective of the project is to fast track the implementation using SAP Standard functions. Providing proper ERP support infrastructure to Continental Biscuits Limited would help the company achieve efficiency in its business processes and a competitive edge in the market.

Commenting on SAP ERP project implementation, Hassan Jamal, Country Liaison Manager, SAP Pakistan said; “Through SAP implementation in their organization, Continental Biscuits Limited can achieve streamlined and optimized business operations, improved information sharing, increased supply chain efficiency, better process consolidation and simplified IT management. As an implementation partner to deliver SAP ERP Project at Continental Biscuits Limited, Siemens Pakistan has a proven track record of effectively providing sales and consultancy services for SAP implementations across a variety of organizations. The SAP implementation project at Continental Biscuits Limited started in July 2011 while the total project duration of SAP ERP implementation is ten months which is divided into two phases.

The Solution for CBL in Phase I comprises of the following Application Areas or Modules (Functional & Technical): Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP) and BASIS & ABAP. Consequently, Phase II will include implementation of Human Capital Management (HCM), Plant Maintenance (PM) and Quality Management (QM).

  • Some ppl really don’t care what they are upto. This was the great news and blog as with respect to SAP implementations increasing in pakistan with good number of modules. Whenever word Pakistan comes ppl always try to down it no matter if the news is of world renowned ERP implementation :).
