  • I will still prefer Htc One X and Samsung Galaxy SIII over because i am not a camera lover and 8 mp camera is enough for me.

  • I dont understand the concept of introducing the concept of a 41mp camera in a mobile, 41mp… are you serious ? I have a DSLR and it was 16mp and thats MORE than what i need. if anyone wants to take serious images he might carry a digital camera in his pocket and 41mp is like twice more of what anyone may ever need

    • Well, if you’r getting dslr functionality in your pocket, so don’t think so any one would mind getting it, specially picture and video lovers, and offcourse that phone is Awesome !

  • Quoting: “Basically the PureView 808 has a 5 megapixel camera that uses insanely complicated algorithms to churn out we assume are going to be some ridiculously amazing photos”

this may help you all to understand whats the secret behind 41MP camera phone:

P.S. In my view, Nokia should pay attention towards development of a new OS Platform rather than manufacturing such kinda devices, almost everyone is fed-up with Symbian!

    • This is not Symbian, but Nokia Belle you should know that, i’ve used there belle phones, which are great, relatively to there last generations, and it has a full 41 megapixel lens, but what it does, it takes full 41 mega pixel picture then applies the algorithm to compress it, for view on mobile screen, which is a efficient way, and that 41 mega pixeld image compressed to 5Megs Looks Epic!

  • So they are trying to take edge over camera quality. But for me HTC is best in every thing.

  • Nokia should move towards a new OS. If they don’t want android as their OS they should introduce new OS and a app store also. I know that there is Nokia OVI Store but this store is pathatic and do not have much apps and games.

  • Nokia 808 Pure View is based upon Nokia Belle FP1 (Feature Pack 1) which is also termed to be Symbian Carla. Please update the post. Belle FP1 is basically UI revamped version of Symbian Belle with minor bug fixes.

  • its a useless gadget for photography ! if one is fone od photography he . she should take DSLR cameras in this price tag !

  • Finally its available in Pakistan with the price tag of Rs. 54,500 Officially and Unofficially its available for Rs. 53,000 with some retailers.
