Samsung Galaxy Star Hits Pakistani Stores at Rs. 9,999

Samsung Galaxy Star

Samsung’s Galaxy Star – a budget Android phone – has made its way to Pakistan. Competing at price, Samsung Star is aimed for young aspiring users who want to switch to Android at an affordable price.

Powered by a decent 1 Ghz processor, Samsung Star boosts 3 inch QVGA display. There is 512 MB of RAM, probably not enough for various users – but considering the price one must remain contented with the package. This is a pathetic excuse for a ‘smart phone’, Samsung is now trying to do a Nokia buy churning out a new mobile model every month with such low end specs with an unsupportive cost. It is better to get a QMobile Noir at this cost!

    • Raja Maja

      100% right

    • Omair Ahmed

Atleast we will get rid to nokia asha series…..and by the way its TRUE smartphone rather than NOKIA ASHA SMART PHONE..

      • Shahid Saleem

True but nokia phones have one big advantage over this: looooooooooooong battery life.

      • Annonymous

You are right. Nice Smart Phone with good specs in low price… with dual sim…

    • Sehrish khan

i agree with you but this is a nice cell phone

      • hassaan

its not very good but also noy very bad……

Its for brand conscious people, everyone doesn’t like to own ‘China’ phones. I think its a good move, people with low budget can also own an android these days rather than crappy China phones or old fashioned Nokia. Though Samsung’s is targeting high end class these days ignoring middle class, this step should be commendable

Like it buy it, don’t like it move on. You have got many options. Every phone is not made for a single individual

    • farrukh

not every 1 can buy s3 and s4 , company have to consider every type of market, for the specs price is good at this price i will buy samsung rather then Q mobile
