Zong Unveils its 3G Packages

Zong_3G

As we reported earlier this week, Zong yesterday commercially launched its 3G services in the country.

A launch ceremony was held at Zong’s headquarters in Islamabad in which Zong’s top management, Dr. Ismail Shah, Chairman Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, along with other members of PTA were also present.

With this commercial launch, Zong’s 3G services are available in Lahore and Karachi. Zong’s 3G services will be made available in Islamabad with-in next couple of weeks.

Now let’s get to Zong’s 3G Packages.

According to the information we have received, Zong will offer daily, weekly and monthly 3G Packages for its customers. Check below the details:

Zong 3G Packages:

Zong_3G_Packages

So as obvious from the details available in the table, the maximum data limit one can get in a month is 4GB, and this plan is priced at Rs. 650 per month.

Add-ons for 3G Packages

Zong is offering Add-ons for its 3G Packages. Add-ons are basically a value addition in the package that will allow customers to use more data with-in time duration of package selected against a price.

Below are add-ons that Zong is offering for its 3G customers:

Zong_Addons

Again to explain the add-ons, if you are on a weekly package with 150MB limit, and you are nearing your data limit even before the expiry of the package, then you can select any of the addon to continue using the 3G services.

Add-ons will expire along with the data-package that you have selected already.

Out of Bundle Charges:

Once you are out of bundle, and you haven’t added any add-on to your account then 3G services will be charged as following:

  • Rs.1 per MB
  • This charging rate will expire along with the expiration of basic bundle that you were subscribed to.

Default 3G Package:

Default 3G package or default 3G charges for Zong’s 3G services  — when there’s no package selected – are as following:

  • Rs.10 per MB

Free Social Package

Zong is offering a free social package for limited time. With this package, customers can use unlimited Facebook, WhatsApp and Twitter for free. Below are details:

  • Package name: Social Pack (Unlimited Facebook, Whatsapp & Twitter)
  • Volume: Unlimited

FAQs

  • What is Add-on:
    • Add Ons are small volume increments that can be purchased to keep enjoying 3G experience.
    • Customers would be recommended to buy Add Ons when they reach 80% and 100% of their bundle utilization.
  • What is Out of Bundle Rate:
    • If a user does not purchase an Add On after reaching volume cap of his data bundle, he/she will be charged an out-of-bundle rate of Rs.1/MB instead of Default rate of Rs.10/MB.
    • The validity of this out-of-bundle rate will be the same as validity of base package.
  • Will Zong Cap Speeds after 3G Bundles are consumed?
    • Yes
    • After reaching volume cap of a bundle, the user’s mobile internet speed will be decreased to 2G speeds (256 kbps) to protect him/her from consuming too much data at 3G speeds and receiving a bill shock.
    • The normal 3G speeds will be resumed once the user buys an Add On or upgrades to a higher bundle.
  • Keeping an Eye on Remaining Data Limit:
    • For Daily bundles, usage notification messages would be sent at: 80% utilization only.
    • For Weekly & Monthly bundles, usage notification messages would be sent at: 20%, 50%, 80% & 100% utilization
  • How many times a bundle can be Re-subscribed?
    • After reaching volume cap, all packages can be re-subscribed multiple times within the validity period
    • The Daily Packages cannot be resubscribed multiple times in a day.
  • How will Auto-Renewal happen?
    • All packages will be auto-renewed (automatic resubscription of package).
    • After 4 days of low balance, customer will be unsubscribed
  • When will the Default Package be charged?
    • If a user has not subscribed to any bundle, default rate of Rs.10/MB will be charged.
    • After 1 MB of consumption, subscribers would be down-throttled to 256 kbps for customer protection.
    • 3G speeds will be resumed once he/she subscribes to a bundle

  • so what is the speed they are offering i mean the packages are cheaper then the other companies but i couldn’t figure out at which speed ?

  • Telenor has industry’s best 3g packages but i fear that either they will increase the prices or reduce data bundles like ptcl

  • I think i should port to Telenor
    these packages are useless

i thought they will offer reasonable packages

  • I think i should port to Telenor

      • 42 Mbps?? Not even in your dreams man. I have just checked, max I’ve gotten is 4.91 mbps, but that’s great too. Still Much better than their 40kbps crap. 42 or even 100 Mbps becomes of little relevance with a cap of 4 GB hovering above you.

        • 42 Mbps = 5.25 MBps means the data transfer rate you get of 4.91 megabytes per second is very close to 5.25 megabytes. Your data transfaer rate of 4.91 megabytes = 39.2 megabits which is very close to 42 megabits as promised by zong.

          • Oh man, oh man, for God’s sake, everybody is trying to tell the other what is the difference between Mbps and MB/s. I know that man what this is all about. I have mentioned here 4.91 Mbps, its not 4.91 MB/s or 4.91 MBps and I don’t see 4.91 MB/s coming to Pakistan anytime soon.

        • I’ve personally seen upto 13.5 Mb/s in Johar Town, Lahore, and yes, the cap sucks.

          • Yes yehi to keh raha hun 13 mbps is used for downling files more then 4gb and zong is giving just 4gb
            wdf

            • Oh bhai, Mbps and MBps mein faraq hota hei tum dono ko eik hi cheez kiun samaj rahe ho.
              Mbps = Megabits per second
              MBps = Megabytes per second
              And
              8Mbps = 1MBps

  • ufone’s packages are best, elaborate and making sense for why they are expensive. They are stable at the speed they promised. Telenor’s 3g fluctuates between speeds and is not stable which makes it irritating.

  • They kept the price little higher than those of telenor since they claim that they will offer double the speed of standard 3G, my guess.

  • So unless Zong has a stellar network quality and offers speed north of 5Mbps, I don’t have enough reasons to port out of Telenor’s Postpaid yet. In fact, Their new Smart Plans actually look interesting.

  • Although i am disappointed with the packages but they will insure stable speeds to all customers.

  • Although i am disappointed with the packages but they will insure stable speeds to all customers.

      • Bro With the passage of time all companies change their packages , so wait

If 3 social are free and 4GB is available in only 650 I think it is affordable ,,, every one had its own choice and usage

          • Bro Zong k pas 10MHz spectrum ha is liy Telenor and Ufone ke quality of service Zong say match nhi kr sakti

            • yar atleast atleast 500 kbps to confirm hai na telenor pe???
har waqt kam azkam itni speed mille to kafi hai

                  • I Don’t want to hurt u any mean ,

If u r Telenor user then use it till Zong service is available in your area then enjoy one of them u feel economical and reliable for u Be Happy Dear ,,,

                    • yes i am going to test all of the networks in my city and then i will choOse any one of them on speed quality basis
does’t matter how much they charge for how much data

                    • I Think Zong will b best for u then,,,

Try it once after thy cover your area

            • Speeds won’t matter, as all operators will be providing at least 2Mb/s speeds, and average of 3Mb/s. Data & Price will matter in the longer run.

            • And what about the speed is the speed of that particular package is good enough to consume that amount of data bandwidth on a mobile

      • Bro With the passage of time all companies change their packages , so wait

If 3 social are free and 4GB is available in only 650 I think it is affordable ,,, every one had its own choice and usage

  • For those of you wanting to port to telenor for 3g be warned. I’ve been using their 3g service for 10 days now on my s4 and in rawalpindi their coverage is pathetic. In lalazar and lalkurti I only get edge even though they say there is 3g in my area. The only time I get 3g is when I am in islamabad. Then also the speed doesn’t go more than 1.5mbps

    • Everyone’s coverage is pathetic in RWP .. same goes to ZONG & MOBILINK.. I used mobilink in lalkurti and it didnt work at my house when I come out of my house it works otherwise it doesnt.. SO I am really happy with my Warid’s EDGE as it speed is good too and fulfuls my needs in my house as well with best call network as well :)

    • I’ve getting speeds over 4.5Mb/s in Askari XIII on Telenor. When I’m working in F6/2, I’m getting speeds over 3Mb/s and sometimes around 5Mb/s.

    • nothing hard inhon ne telenor ke pkgz ke bare men socha bhi nai hai to competition kaise hoga

      • Look at Ufone 3G packages, there packages are so much expensive as compared to other cellular operators. If Ufone 3G packages remain the same then nobody will touch it. So, for this reason Ufone will think about it. Akin, If Telenor 3G gives better speed than Zong 3G then people will shift Zong to Telenor. It is a game of standard. With the passage of time, the packages prices will go down.

        • If Telenor gives a speed of upto 3Mb/s, most people would prefer Telenor over Zong due to its network coverage, and 3Mb/s or 100Mb/s, watching a video or a skype video call will have the same performance therefore speeds wont make much difference, but price will.

          • hmm..!! You are right…!! Some people prefer speed whereas other people prefer price.

            • More than price, its about data, mate. Zong is offering same amount of data as compared to Telenor for Rs. 1,300/= and Telenor is offering that same amount for data for Rs. 1,000/=. If Telenor offers an average speed of 3Mb/s and Zong offers a speed of 50Mb/s, I don’t think anyone will really care for that, as we can’t download movies or torrents using such limited data :D The only purpose for this data is browsing/whatsapp/YT/dailymotion/skype calls, and for that a speed of 3Mb/s would be adequate.. :)

              • It is only possible if speed remains usable. We know Zong has 10Mhz whereas Telenor has 5Mhz (You can see in the auction that 10Mhz spectrum is expensive than 5Mhz). The frequency range of 10Mhz will able to provide high speed to more user as compared to 5Mhz. If Telenor gives speed less than 1Mbps at that area with the passage of time due to 5hz frequency range and at the same time Zong offers 2-3Mbps, absolutely people will use Zong. For instance, the edge speed of Warid is faster than Ufone. Warid EDGE gives speed 25-27KB/s whereas Ufone 10-12KB/s in my area. The package price of Warid is expensive one, but I prefer to use Warid EDGE due to its faster speed.I can download 100 files in an hour.Telenor is the best if its speed remains 2-3Mbps otherwise useless.

                • I agree with you, and yes I understand the meaning of 5MHz and 10Mhz, but you also need to understand a fact :P Zong has much less coverage as compared to Telenor. There is not a single place in all of ISB/RWP/LHR that has 100% Signals for Zong, whereas there are several places that have 100% Telenor Signals.. Hell, I can get 100% Signals for Telenor even when I’m in my village (Chakwal) So, Telenor will be able to provide the same (if not better) as compared to Zong, and yes, even if they can provide with 2 – 3Mb/s speed with 5MHz band, that would still prove useful due to the network performance, as compared to Zong. Honestly, Zong service center in ISB (Jinnah Super) When I went to pay my postpaid bill, I didn’t see full signals there even :D That concludes my argument lol.

  • Free Social Package:
    Validity: 3 Days
samj nai i bhai..? only free for three days? after three days?

    • Sms kro package mil jay ga without any cost
And 3 days baad expire ho jay ga automatic renew nhi hoga , agr dobara Len gy to without any charges phir active ho jay ga
Sirf renew krny ke zrort paish ay ge

    • Free social pack is free for a limited time offer. 3days validity does not mean it will not be available after 3 days. It will be auto subscribed for free for Zong customers

    • Free social pack is free for a limited time offer. 3days validity does not mean it will not be available after 3 days. It will be auto subscribed for free for Zong customers

  • I think these package are v good. I’m very happy I used Zong trial services got 6mbps speed. I consumed a total of 450 mb in one month.I use my home net also. This are the cheapest package at the moment. During test period service was good at the end after sites were updated.

  • then telenor’s 8 GB for 1000 is the best package so far. Disappointed by ZONG BIG TIME !

  • The only thing positive I can draw from Zong after these packages is that I am in the coverage area in Lahore atleast, nothing really special about the offerings though.

  • Surprisingly Expensive Packages by Zong, and also surprisingly the most expensive network of Pakistan i.e. Telenor is offering 3G Services in most affordable charges! i am thinking about switching to Telenor seriously!

    • U cannot say that Zong’s Internet bundles are expensive, just because they give us 4gb for 650 rs instead of 500…they have 10 mhz of spectrum, so u’ll get a consistently good speed even if there are a lot of other users within the same tower radius.

    • U cannot say that Zong’s Internet bundles are expensive, just because they give us 4gb for 650 rs instead of 500…they have 10 mhz of spectrum, so u’ll get a consistently good speed even if there are a lot of other users within the same tower radius.

      • I agree with you bro, but I have seen the screenshot of its speed which is well below Telenor’s if you compare it, not sure though if it’s correct screenshots or just a telenor/ufone fanboy :D anyways I have to see what speed it does provides, but always remember, higher bandwidth definitely results in larger volume consumption, this is fact!

  • First, Really disappointed with the coverage and now with the packages :(

They are saying that their so called super 3G is fastest 3G in the world but what is the use of that if the cap is only 4GB .. :( anyways, I tested the signal at my home today and ZONG is not coming in the list :( so first i would wait for zong to get the signals right and then i will think about to switch from Warid to Zong :)

  • By looking at the speeds zong offer which is triple the speed of Telenor and ufone, these are very good rates. Ufone is out of the race totally, Telenor’s limited bandwidth losses against zong. In coverage Telenor may be better…

Overall Zong is the way to go… Mobilink will do something similar but surely can not beat zong on pricing.

    • Telenor’s limited bandwidth ? r u kidding me ? Telenor is giving the most bandwidth which is 8GB :P and their coverage is way better than ZONG too :P considering the 5MHZ spectrum , their speeds are awesome…

      • They didn’t disclose the bandwidth one will get.. It can up and down..

As i said yes Telenor has better coverage but pathetic network. I ported out of Telenor a year ago due to that.. I don’t know how is it now.

        • I am currently using Warid but all my family members are using Telenor and the signal strength is good..secondly 8GB is good limit and the best uptil now :)

  • Ugliest packages announced so far….. probably they are xing ufone as well
4GB monthly with a speed of 42mbps HA Ha Ha

  • And the fellows who expect 15gb, 30gb limits totally living in lala land.. These are not dsl packages so you can ditch your ISP and start using 3g in home.. 3g,4g is for mobile usage so one can have high speed connectivity on the go… 4 to 8gb is enough for that..

If you are looking to download torrents and movies, that’s not gonna happen like ever..

  • LOL there website says “Meet your monthly mobile internet needs with monthly packages ranging from 150MB upto 10GB.” LOL

  • what is the benefit of 3G if you are going to use it to browse Facebook and Twitter only. Seriously there should be 10 GB packages with affordable range.

  • so far telenor packages were best, really waiting for what mobilink have got for me.

  • “Yeah Product Ghareeb Awam ke Pohanch say door rakhay”.. Wazartay I. Technology, Khakomatay Pakistan.

  • “Yeah Product Ghareeb Awam ke Pohanch say door rakhay”.. Wazartay I. Technology, Khakomatay Pakistan.

  • Guys lets forget about these packages for a bit. Compare Zong and Telenor with Ufone’s 3G tariff LOL. I can only laugh specially when it says in the tariff area on Ufone’s website: “Developed by a huge team of experts through countless hours of research, we have made sure that there is an ideal solution for every one of you.” HAHAHAHAHA

  • Super 3G speed – Gulberg Lahore, near Zong service centre. Dont fall for false advertisements of high speeds. I have tried all three and Telenor gives you consistently good speed.

    • Thats what I am talking about :P ZONG cannot provide good signals so forget about 3G :)

    • thats coz maybe you’re using their old 2g package , subscribe their 3g packgae *6464# then check

    • I’m near Main Market Lahore. Forget 3G, I am barely able to make calls or send SMS now…. I can’t even check my balance… “Out of Coverage”. Yesterday I wasn’t getting 3G signals, only 2G and everything was fine. With 3G, it has become worse!
I was thinking of permanently shifting to Zong, but after this, Telenor it is…

  • 3 videos on daily motion, an hour of browsing and 4 speed tests consumed 100MB in 2 hours. 100MB daily ~ 3GB per month. They are going to make a lot of money for over usage.

    • You are going to be notified when you reach 20, 50 and 80% of your monthly limit.

  • Hard to believe Zong people have actually done that. Well, atm, doesn’t seem their “Super 3G” thing has materialized or will materialize anyway. Meanwhile, in Karachi today, around 1410 hrs, near Karsaz Area (Don’t know if Galaxy S III has H+ connectivity mode available or not, mine was showing simple H)

  • Phelay signals to do. phr pakage pe ana.. m using Telenor and its (y) in Islamabad

  • Zong 3G packages mein 10gb volume wala bhi hai ? Package bht si jagah per parha hai zong ki site per bhi but dont knw how to activate it ? Agr kesi ko pata hai tou bata dyn :)

  • neeeeed help i just insert my zong sim updated settings but im only getting edge did restart my phone still im getting edge im in the 3g covered area johar town and yes my phone is 3g compatible its moto G. i havent used my sim since 2011 :P

  • For those who dont know, ZOng is covering almost the whole of lahore, unlike telenor and ufone, who are covering limited areas, even the backward areas like Sanda, Islampura etc. Great speed, optimal pacakges

  • People are comparing Zong Packages with Telenor… :O
O bhaiyo 10Mhz or 5Mhz ki speed men khud socho kitna farak hoga! Zong 3G Packages > Telenor.

    • I have no idea why ppl think that if ZONG has 10MHZ spectrum and Telenor has 5MHZ spectrum the speeds would be really a difference..

My friend let me explain you one thing that there is no difference in speeds its just that ZONG has more cell sites then telenor but Telenor has nice speed then ZONG as there signals are good.. What if there are no signals , where would you use 3G ??? as in my case , I dont get coverage at my house (ZONG) but Warid, Telenor & Mobilink have full coverage. So forget about the spectrum and be realistic that Telenor has better coverage than ZONG and better packages too..

    • I have no idea why ppl think that if ZONG has 10MHZ spectrum and Telenor has 5MHZ spectrum the speeds would be really a difference..

      • You’re contradicting your own statement.
10Mhz means Zong can provide better 3G Signals on less cell sites as they have 10Mhz band to transmit the signal. On the other hand Telenor will have to use more cell sites to cover the area because 5Mhz cannot carry the same signal strength.

        • yes , but my concern is that ZONG’s signals are not that strong as Telenor so that concludes that Telenor has more cell sites which 5MHZ can carry easily. No Signals , no 3G ofcourse

        • Mate, you cannot get full signals anywhere in Pakistan, while being on Zong. Even if you’re sitting under the cellphone tower, there aswell the signals aren’t full, and every other network is better than Zong’s network. I am not against zong, <3 them, but facts are facts.

    • telenor 8Gb + 3mbps speed = 1000rs
      Zong 8gb + 9mbps speed = 1300rs

its a fair deal to me only because of speed , which i am getting alhamdulilah

      • Can you please share a screenshot of your speed as there is no ZONG Super 3G in RWP/ISB yet :(

          • Hmm nice.. But I dont get signals of ZONG at home in RWP so i cannot think to port to them :( speed is good no doubt ..:P as of yet there is no 3G in RWP/ISB.. So have to wait for Warid as I am on Warid :)

            • either use any dual sim smartphone or port in to Mobilink or zong whichever has the most strongest signals !!

              • Yes I have Mobilink too … :) I dont like Dual Sim Phones as I am using iPhone 5 :) So I will most probably wait till Mobilink Launches there packages and then port in to Mobilink :)

          • please check again if you are still getting it. We are only getting 0.40Mbps in lahore.
Or do you work for zong?

            • Lolz i dont work for zong , i dont have balance so i cant do another screenshot, will do in evening its verryyy HOt here !!

and are you using 2g package with 3g ?? coz i also got 0.30 mbps when i was using 2gb for 200 rs 2g packgae , then i subscribe their new 3g package then damn 9 mbps in my face :D

  • i was think to port out to zong but not now. am on mobilink and expect nice packages from them ,

  • In my opinion Telenor’s packeges are much more attractive because they can offer better service and better availability.

  • In my opinion Telenor’s packeges are much more attractive because they can offer better service and better availability.

  • Zong is best then Telenor cuz telenor ky pass 5MHz hai & zong ky pass 10Mhz & jo log abhi telenor ko best bol rhy hain unky liye hai k jese hi network per load hona hai telenor ki speed slow ho jye gi zong per bhi best rahy ga & zong limited areas ki jagah pure city mein de raha hai coverage tou zong is best & baat hai packages ki tou agr volume km hai tou speed bhi tou phir ziada hai telenor sy ap mein sy kis ny abhi ki dekha yaw suna k telenor ny 16mb speed di ? Chlo 16 mb nahi tou 12mb speed ? Zong Is best <3 ab jb tk mobilink launch nahi karta tab tk Zong is <3

    • You need to understand that if speed is more , you will consume more data so that means 4GB is not enough for that kind of speed :P

      • Yeh baat mujhe bhi pata hai but yr agr speed hi slow ho tou volume ka faida ? Ap mujhhe 2G per 4GB ktm kr k dekha do :D bht mushkl sy hona hai jb apki speed ziada hogi….. volume tou phir bhi increase ho skta hai 1 package double dafa kr k but ap speed tou increase krny sy rahy :D so Zong :p

        • Oh bhai, a 2Mb/s speed is more than enough for all sort of net stuff.. including video calls and browsing, and no matter how loaded Telenor is, I’m sure the speed will be over 2Mb/s. Therefore even a 100Mb/s Zong speed won’t be of any use, if you only have 4 GB Data, 2Mb/s of Telenor would be more than perfect for digesting data slowly :P Plus the 8,000mb Data Limit!

      • no bro, it was on H+ but i took screenshot later, at that time I was out of 3G coverage.
(speed was tested at 6:48pm, screenshot taken at 7:26pm)

      • no bro, it was on H+ but i took screenshot later, at that time I was out of 3G coverage.
(speed was tested at 6:48pm, screenshot taken at 7:26pm)

  • Really nice job by zong.i tested all operators and none crossed 15Mbps. Only zong did.
650 Is really good as I one cañ resubscibe again.well done to zong.

    • Waah Meer Sahab! Didn’t know you were a Zong user.. Aapka code to Ufone ka hai :P

  • A normal PC internet user consumes 1 GB daily. in cell phones we can consume 500 MB. how dare they are offering 500 MB in whole month ?

    • Lol dude. 3 months back I went to the UK. There I took an unlimited bundle for 3G and I used and abused it pretty badly. Watched YouTube and Skype Video Calls. In the end, I had only used 3.2GB Data :P

      • what da fk
when ever we want to say something u just take us to uk dubai
it this a proper logical answer they are not giving so we should also not get what da fk what da fk

        • I’m not taking you anywhere, to go anywhere you need a visa for that, and I’m not a Counsular :P I am just comparing how much data an average person needs… be it in UK, be it in China, be it on Mars :D I am just trying to compare with other markets that are using 3G since the past 8+ years. I think they are humans like us .. they aren’t really aliens..

  • Ufone will be losing more customers than they can imagine! After the launch of these amazing Zong & Telenor packages, don’t think anyone would want to stick with ufone apart from a few idiots :D

    Zong 8GB 42MB/s = Rs. 1,300/=
    Telenor 8GB 21Mb/s = Rs. 1,000/=
    Ufone 3GB 3Mb/s = Rs 1,500/=

They’ve lost their mind it seems..

      • Same here. I’m just waiting for Mobilink to launch 3G Packages. I’d probably go for Telenor, over Zong, unless Mobilink launches more economical packages, which I really doubt.

        • Mobilink pure 9 cities mein full city coverage dene wala hai. Aur sub se ziada coverage Mobilink ki hai Karachi mein. And 1st july se shayad Mobilink 3g Launch hoga aur speed 2 signal bars per 4 mbps tak hai yani k 8 to 10 Mbps tak hogi.

  • Yesterday I subscribed for 50 MB volume to check speed. The speed I was received ranges from 5MB to 6 MB.

  • One Hidden Package is available here… 10 GB… Just Wait Details will be available Shortly… :)

  • not satisfied with zong.. not getting full singnals in indoors.. and speed i am getting is max 30 kbps

  • Can’t seem to comprehend all the fuss about those outrageous speed tests, Those speed tests would matter only if you had unlimited/sufficient bandwidth but only 4gb of data to go along with it would only be a bottleneck. So the point is if you are getting 2-3 mbps speeds its more than sufficient for mobile needs, rendering talks of 5Mhz or 10Mhz spectrum useless. It would all come down to Data limit and rates at the end of the day and in that context its so far so good for telenor.

  • Mai sadqa is zong ka all i get this h+ on my screen kasam hai jo aik bar kuch open kar diya ho na koi website khulti hai na kuch aur chlata hai pakg b kiya hai aur phir b yeh bakwas

  • What on earth were they thinking when they devised that daily mini package. With the speed they are promising this poor package would get a hard time to even survive a minute let alone a day. Please don’t say that was made for whatsapp because that’s already free under their Social pkg.

  • shititest zong .. they have reduced their active 3g map in lahore… at first they are showing almost 90% but now it is just 50% …wtf.

  • same thing happen with Karachi 3G map they reduce the number of area from Karachi map that ridiculous

  • Hai to takleef sary networks ko, jis ko dekho lahore, karachi and islamabd k elawa koi city nazar he nahi ata, baki me keya log nai rehty?

    • In cities me population ziada he area k lihaaz se, is liay ziada subscribers honge same towers se. Kum time me ziada paise wasool aur marketing bhi. Business decision he koi personal dushmani nai he :D

  • Mobilink is the only operator in Pakistan who will give coverage to all over the 9 cities. That’s why they are late in commercial launch.

      • No need for doubt……..Its real Mobilink is also covering rural areas of Karachi. 70% KHi is covered by Mobilink 3G. No network covered Bin Qasim Town but 50% Bin Qasim town is covered by Mobilink 3G

        • Okay i’m only saying the real could be seen on coverage maps ,when they will launch 3g officially,

My 2nd reason to say that was because mobilink is not providing 3g in my area North nazimabad !!

  • Me got 11.65 Mbps at Firdaus Market Lahore. Susbcribed to Monthly Premium Package its great very satisfied. Telenor is Edge still near muzang and lawrance road

  • InshaAllah Kick 2014 brrip 720p/1080p Zong per download karen ge special 4gp package laga kar

  • Wth….. Just 10% Karachi……. Poor Network just have money nothing else. Ziada hi paisa aagaya hai na to Paise k balbote per uchal raha hai. Coverage hi nhi sara din to network busy rehta hai. Complaints ka bhi koi response nhi.

    • Those have not subscribed to their new 3G packages that’s why. You must have to subscribe any of the above mentioned package to get speed.

  • Their speed is not stable and recently they ended 3g coverage in my area and they gave the reason of low smartphone users !! FU ZONG !! GTFO

  • In a country were there is literally no sewerage system and the public is so concerned about internet connection is laughable. BTW. Im from Gujarkhan side. I have an evo wingle dongle on a 30 day 1500Rs. On speedtest I got 0.06Mbps.
    Impressive !

  • iphone 5s model A1457 is not working with zong 3G :( i only get edge but iphone 5 working any solution ?

    • That is a good news but that would be i gues 1500 and that is too much.. anything more than 1000 is expensive :P and secondly they have poor network .. I dont get Signals indoor in Lalkurti Rawalpindi :P so I expect bad reception of 3G as well :(

  • Baki sub ki price kam ha Jaaz 300 me 3Gb telenor 350 me 3GB aur zong 650 me 4GB wa zong 4GB 350 me honi chahey kiyou k khudi to kehtay hain k sub khe do ZONG

  • Any guy working in zong?
I want my number to be converted to zong employee package. I’m willing to pay for it.
