Xiaomi Launches the Cheapest 32-Inch Smart TV in the World

Xiaomi has been known for its top-notch gadgets. Having showcased its Mi TV 4 series at the beginning of 2017, the company is on the move to upgrade its TV lineup.

Its latest TV model, which will be available for sale in the markets from July 23rd, 2017, is a sleek 32-inch Mi TV 4A. The most amazing aspect about this TV is its price; which comes at just $163 (1099 Yuan).

The all-new Mi TV 4A is the smallest TV Xiaomi has ever introduced. In a bid to capture the TV segment of the market, the company has targeted gone for an ultra-cheap model this time. Despite the low price, it comes with scintillating features.

The all-black plastic body makes it sleek and remarkably low-weight at only 3.9 Kgs. It can be moved around the house or anywhere else rather easily.

Coming to the all-important features, Mi TV 4A comes with a 178 degrees viewing angle and a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels.

It has all the ‘smart’ features you see on TVs these days. Specs list includes a 1.5 GHz Quad-Core processor and a smart PatchWall system, meaning that this model offers seamless streaming as well as content recommendations based on user preferences.

In addition, the TV comes with 1 GB RAM, Mali-450 MP3 GPU, 4 GB of internal storage, an AV port, two HDMI ports, USB port, DTMB, S/PDIF output and two 5W Stereo speakers.

Xiaomi really didn’t cut any corners when it comes to the new smart TV. All these cool features for $163, which rounds off to about 17,000 PKR. Unfortunately, the product is only available in China for now and there is no word of any international release.

The company has been selling smartphones and other smart products in Pakistan for a few months now. We hope the company speeds up its rollout of other great products like the new 32-inch TV and brings it to overseas consumers as well.

foolish Idea to buy a smart tv. Just use amazon fire stick or chromecast instead.

Does chromecast work/available in Pakistan? How does it work? Can i get some layman information to understand it?

      • AbdulB1

What is the advantage or what can be done using Anroid TV Box ?
And which brand of Anroid TV Box should I consider buying from AliExpress?

          • AbdulB1

actually I can only recommend xiaomi box because I have no experience with other companies. there are many in local market too. but I can’t say anything about heat issues or slowness.

I ordered Chromecast from daraz it was perfect, just connect it to the HDMI port of your tv and use your mobile or pc to cast, it uses your Wi-Fi to stream content and you can watch videos from YouTube on it or of any other website which supports Chromecast, you can also cast your screen.

        • Tam Oor

Well then obviously you’d need to get subscription from paid sites like Hulu or Netflix?
And all it does is display your cell phone screen on your TV, right?
Sounds pretty useless to me… if there’s something else i’m missing? :P

          • Anonymous

Yes, it displays your mobile screen or pc screen, but it supports YouTube and third party websites other than Netflix and Hulu, no you don’t need them there are several online sites which have more content than Netflix and have Chromecast support, if you want links you can pm me because I’m not sure whether proPakistani allows external links.
