NUST Issues RFP to Establish National Science & Technology Park

National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) has formally started accepting Request for Proposal (RFP) applications for National Science & Technology Park. NUST will establish the technology park under Private-Public partnership to promote development and use of modern and innovative technologies.

The estimated cost of the project is said to be Rs 3 billion.

NUST has collaborated with Higher Education Commission (HEC) to lay the foundations of this state-of-the-art technology park.

This initiative aims to create more job opportunities for underprivileged and unemployed graduates of the country. Furthermore it is also aimed that Pakistan’s image as a developing Information Technology (IT) country will improve and it will add significantly to the country’s economy.

Dates to Remember

Last date to apply: 26th December 2017, before 12:00 PM.

The bids will be opened before all applicants at 3 pm on the same day.

NUST has invited all domestic and international firms to submit their bids for establishment of National Science and Technology Park.

Experienced firms can download application form from official NUST website. The duly filled form will be sent to NUST H-12 campus, Islamabad.

The funds for the project have already been issued by HEC.
