Sehat.com.pk has started an initiative known as #SehatStart, which aims to provide budding entrepreneurs in Pakistan with the necessary skills and resources to meet their career goals. They held their inaugural seminar titled “Emotional Intgellience in the WorkPlace” at KickStart CoWorking Space in Gulberg, Lahore, an event that was well received among the local attendees who came primarily from the IT and Services industries. Their supporting partners in this endeavor are Cheetay.pk, KickStart, FreshStart PR, and Talk Services
The Chief Guest of the event was Javaid Nasir Qureshi, MD of Fresenius Medical Care – Pakistan & Afghanistan, while many other notable figures from the e-commerce space were present, including Nadir Mumtaz – CEO sehat.com.pk, Khalid Ahmad Malik – CEO The Vitamin Company, and Hyder Mumtaz – CEO AugmentCare.
The event begun with Director of Marketing (sehat.com.pk) Bilal Mumtaz acted as the Master of Ceremonies, elaborating on Sehat’s extended vision of providing tools for purveying well-being for individuals and briefly elaborating on the topic of Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace. The Chief Guest of the event, Mr Javaid Qureshi, then presented on the importance of an Emotional Quotient for the individual, while Omar Farooq from Talk Services acted as a nominated speaker for the event on a presentation prepared by Sehat. The main areas of focus of the presentation involved four separate topics of Resource Allocation (Who Moved My Cheese), Sense of Purpose (Ikigai), Corporate Culture (Tribal Leadership), and Personality Assessment (Myers-Briggs).

Certificates were handed out to distinguished guests and partners at the event after the ceremony, with the event being marketed and managed by FreshStart PR, while refreshments were provided by Cheetay.pk.
Javaid Qureshi had this to say about the event – “The topic of Emotional Intelligence is one that is very vital for the productivity of the workforce, especially in Pakistan”.
Omar Farooq added that, “Getting emotionally stressed out can cause a lot of problems in your environment in the long run. That’s why I took the opportunity to speak on this particular topic today”.
“Knowing your personality type is very important for imminent success in your professional field, and I felt the seminar today illustrated just that,” quoted Hassan from KickStart.
