The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2019 will witness a mid-season trade window for 48 hours following Friday’s double-header.
The window will allow the franchises to trade two players, subject to their consent, which haven’t been used this season.
PSL will open a mid-season trade for every franchise for only 48 hours. The franchises will be able to exchange two unused players and restructure their team for the remainder of the tournament. #PSL2019 #PSL4

As of now, all the teams include at least five players who haven’t featured in any of the PSL games this year.
Players who have been inactive for 4 games until Friday’s fixtures will be eligible for the transfer in the same category at the same pay scale.
The idea was pitched in PSL 3 but it is being implemented now and the inactive players can now find themselves in other outfits than they originally signed for, which also provides the franchises to find the perfect balance of their teams.
For instance, Lahore Qalandars might want to find another strong pacer in the form of Karachi Kings’ Aaron Summers to further strengthen their bowling unit.
It remains to be seen which players show their interest in the switch as no one would want to sit on the benches for the rest of the season.
